I looked at the mesmerizing face of the vampire in front of me. Edward Cullen was not like many vampires in different ways. One, he didn't drink the blood of humans and two, he loved me like no other could.

His love mingled with mine had been the reason of our doing now. I had remembered standing outside, watching him in the water up until the moment that he quickly swept me off my feet and brought me back to the bed in the huge white bedroom.

And even now I couldn't fathom for the life of me why he had chosen someone like me to be with him. And yet he had told me millions of times that it wasn't really a choice in the matter and yet if it was, he'd still choose me.

My thoughts brought about a smile to my face as I kept on gazing at the beautiful face of my husband. I was no longer embarrassed about the term, not even squeamish. It was just another term to tell me that we were together forever in more ways than just one.

The last words I let slip from my mouth before we progressed to our passionate stage were, "I love you."
