Showing Love

The pitch black convertible parked under the pale moonlight, the two boys were surrounded by trees and discarded branches. Tyler Lockwood removed the keys from the ignition before opening the car door and making his way towards the edge of the woods. Following behind him was a depressed looking Jeremy Gilbert, crossing his arms over his chest due to the chill and being lonely.
As the part went on for God knows how long, Tyler became more and more distant from his date. Only sparing him a few simple glances for most of the party. Jeremy stood alone by a large oak tree before the chill in his legs became painful and he saw down near the fire. Jeremy was left on his own soon enough as everyone else left.
Jeremy sighed. Tyler promised him a fun nigh and what did he get? He was stuck waiting for Tyler to come and take him home. As soon as Jeremy had finished his thought, his so-called 'sweet and wonderful' boyfriend wrapped his arms around Jeremy's neck before starting to leave small kisses on his cheek. Great, he's drunk, Jeremy thought.
"Hey, baby, let's go home, hmm?" Tyler asked quietly.
"You're not driving," Jeremy said, "We're staying here until you can walk in a straight-line and say the alphabet backwards, OK?" Tyler said nothing before settling down next to Jeremy.
Tyler looked around before pulling Jeremy towards him. He gave him a quick kiss before pushing Jeremy's jacket back slightly and pressing his warm lips against the younger man's neck. He continued to make his way down his neck before sliding his hand up Jeremy's thigh. Jeremy held his hand to stop gliding up before pressing his lips against Tyler's gently. As Tyler moved him backwards he began to move his hand over Jeremy's chest.
"H-Hey, stop," Jeremy said as Tyler became slightly more aggressive, "Tyler, I said stop!" Jeremy said before successfully pushing away.
Tyler was pissed.
"What the hell, Jere?" Tyler complained, "I try and show you that I love you and you push me away?"
"I'm...I'm sorry, Ty, I just don't think that's a good way of showing someone you care about them, let alone love them." Jeremy told him. Tyler sighed before looking over at his boyfriend. Jeremy was fiddling with his fingers like after their first date. His hair was covering his face like after his first kiss. His eyes were watering like the first time Tyler said he loved him and he was shaking like when Jeremy told him he didn't want to have sec until he was perfectly sure about this.
"Come here, baby," Tyler said as he took off his coat and wrapped it around Jeremy before holding his close to his chest. He placed a kiss on Jeremy's head before allowing Jeremy to close his eyes and drift off to sleep for awhile.
"I love you, Jeremy." Tyler swore to him as he looked into the fire.
"I love you, too, Tyler." Jeremy whispered against his chest.
