I guess I should start by giving an insight on what this fanfiction will bring; I have found myself becoming slightly obsessed with Enzo/Caroline, thus causing me to write a fanfiction. Now, I am quite bad with sticking to a story unless I have a set ending for it etc. and I'm not the greatest at updating either.
This brings me to one-shots and drabbles etc.
Some may be based off of episodes, some may be completely AU or some may be just plain fluff. I have a few ideas and will hopefully write them all up soon. Additionally, if you have an idea for Enzo and Caroline that you want me to right then feel free to review with your idea.
Finally, I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing and please review with opinions and whether I should keep writing for this couple.
Based off 6x07 where Caroline does not confess her feelings for Stefan as in this, she actually has feelings for Enzo.
Caroline stood outside the hospital; her mother was still getting checked over and she absolutely couldn't stand being in a hospital for too long. It always reeked of fresh blood which wasn't good when she was hungry, it brought back memories of herself and her father dying in the environment and a big jerk with caterpillar eyebrows was still stood in there.
She peered through the door and saw that Stefan was still stood in there. Caroline huffed to herself as she stomped away from the door, crossing her arms. Why can't he just leave already? The blonde vampire thought to herself. He's actually more annoying than Damon.
"Hello, Gorgeous."
She jumped when she heard the familiar greeting and familiar British accent, breaking her from her thoughts.
Enzo.
"Penny for your thoughts?" He asked as Caroline turned around to face him.
Caroline looked confused, though Enzo was unsure why. She had an angry look about her so he was sort of afraid that she'd scratch his eyes out if he dared to mention anything about it. "What are you doing here?"
That must be why she's confused, he assumed.
"Oh, it's nice to see you too." He said as he approached her with a devilish, trademark grin that made all the girls swoon. "I just thought I'd stop by and see how your lovely mother is doing."
"Well, she's fine. Now you can leave," Caroline said, gesturing for him to turn around and walk away from the hospital by pointing into what seemed to be pure darkness from the lack of lighting in that area.
Enzo stared at her for a moment before slowly turning around. For a second, Caroline thought that she had managed to get rid of him – clearly, this was not going to be the case.
"On second thoughts—" His voice called as he turned back around to face her, "I might keep you company, Gorgeous. Now, how did your little chat with Stefan go? You know, the one about your feelings for him and how you want to k—"
"Enzo!" Caroline raised her voice, preventing him from finishing his sentence. "I do not have feelings for Stefan!"
Enzo held his hands up in defence, "Calm down, Gorgeous." He said with a typical chuckle, "You may not have feelings for Stefan, but you have feelings for someone."
"I—" Caroline begun before Enzo rested a finger on her lips.
"Hear me out," He said whilst dropping his hands. "I know that look, Caroline. I may seem like a heartless vampire who snaps necks and turn people—"
"Oh, you mean like Ivy and Tripp who are dead, by the way and—"
"Let me finish. I may look like that guy... But I do know a thing or two about love. I've seen that look in many people in my lifetime and all of them have had strong feelings for someone."
Caroline scoffed at his comment, crossing her arms. How could she take him seriously? This is Enzo – the guy that uses his tongue to get information from witches and the guy that takes pride in turning innocent people into vampires. Yet, he was also the guy that she was hopelessly falling for. Maybe it was the accent or the way he called her 'gorgeous'; however, it was something that Caroline was determined to ignore due to disapproval from her friends.
"So, who's the lucky guy?" Enzo asked, taking a short pause. "Let's see... It's not Stefan and you despise Damon... That leaves Matt and Tyler. Unless you have some secret guy on the side," he said with an irresistible grin. Caroline didn't answer. "Silence. Great. I'll guess. Let's see... Neither of them are good company. Matt is boring and Tyler's a bit of a dick."
Caroline continued to say nothing but simply shot him a glare. He was driving her mad with the way he was going on, and that was clearly shown when she rubbed her temples and rolled her eyes, but she was determined to at least try and keep her feelings in.
"Come on, Caroline." Enzo said, his accent rolling off his tongue. "Give me some idea. Hair colour? Initials? Species? Accent?"
As soon as Caroline heard that word, she became more alert and looked up from the floor.
"Ah," He said with a grin, "Accent. Of course, if you were going to choose a guy with an accent, I would hope that it is someone with one as good as mine... Actually, I don't think anyone has an accent as good as mine."
Clearly you haven't met Klaus, Caroline thought to herself, getting increasingly annoyed by the second.
"I really hope it's not Matt. He's boring. And you're worth a lot much than that Tyler Lockwood—"
"It's you!" Caroline suddenly exclaimed; she looked quite angry with herself for the confession. For once, Enzo was silent. "It's you, okay? You're the one that I have feelings for and god knows why because right now you are being so beyond annoying it's—"
She was interrupted when Enzo pressed his lips to hers; at first, she was surprised by his reaction but she soon melted into the moment and returned the kiss. And, hell, she wasn't going to regret that since he was a damn good kisser. His arms moved around her waist whilst Caroline's found there way around his neck as they were caught up in the moment.
When the kiss broke a part, Caroline was almost rendered speechless. "You kissed me," was the best she could say.
"Yes."
"You've never kissed me before."
"Nope."
"We kissed."
"Yep."
"You kissed me."
"Alright, Gorgeous. I think we've just established that we shared I kiss. I thought it would be a bit awkward between us if I didn't make it clear that I share those feelings that you have."
It was quiet for a moment before Caroline once again repeated herself; "We kissed."
Enzo decided to not say anything this time; instead, he just grinned and kissed her again.
