Everyone in the room bumps into you as they rush to get ready. You have 2 girls working on your hair, your best friend is doing your makeup and some other girls are standing around you, watching with big smiles.
"And… You're done!" You open your eyes and get up from your stool. Everyone stares at you as you walk across the room, to see yourself in the long mirror.
When your figure reflects on the mirror, you gasp in amazement. Your small curls are bouncing around your shoulders, and your makeup is perfectly dabbed on; not too much, but not too little.
"Wow!" It seems as if thats the only thing you could say in this moment. You turn around to face at least two dozen bright faces. "Thanks guys, everything looks perfect."
"You look beautiful." Your best friend is the first to speak, and suddenly everyone follows by saying the same thing.
As the thought finally sinks in, you slump down on the couch next to you. Today is your wedding day. "I'm so nervous."
Your best friend walks over to your side and puts her hand on your shoulder. "Don't worry, everything will go perfectly. He'll fall in love all over again." Those small words made you feel much more comfortable already.
One of the girls in the room looked down at their watch. "OH! Look at the time! You've got a wedding to attend!" Soon enough, everyone was pouring out of the room. Your hook arms with your best friend and take one last breath before walking out of the room and down the stairs into the kitchen.
The door in the kitchen was open, revealing a beautiful beach. On the beach, were wedding decorations and many guests taking their seats. It seemed all so over-whelming for you.
"Are you sure I can do this? What if I trip? Or say something wrong? Or-"
"Shhh." Your mother cuts you off. You stood beside your best friend and your parents. "You'll be amazing, I know it."
And before you knew it, it was your time to walk down the aisle. With a deep breath, you take your father's arm into yours, and start walking. "One step at a time." You whisper encouraging words to yourself.
When you get halfway down the aisle, you see James.
He's wearing a black suit with black pants and black dress shoes. A huge smile is plastered upon his face, stretching from one ear right to the other. You quickly return the smile.
Within seconds, your father lets go of your arm as you slowly reach James. He looks directly into your eyes, as he mouths "You look beautiful."
After all that the priest has to say, you both finally say your I Do's.
And thats when it hits you. You're going to spend the rest of your life with this man. You'll wake up to James' beautifully sculpted face. You'll fall asleep to his soft voice. You can be with him forever.
