Hey guys, so this is my first story on my new account, so I hope this isn't too bad!

Coming Home - by WizardingWorldMorti.

"Merlin! It's Dumbledore" a Hufflepuff student cried.

Everyone turned around to see the supposedly dead headmaster storm though the grounds with a very determined look upon his face.

"Dumbledore good to see ya out of hiding" Hagrid said in this gruff voice as he came up to see the headmaster. Dumbledore uncharacteristically ignored the 8ft, half giant, and burst through the already damaged doors. On the floor he saw an injured Severus being tended to by Rolanda, who just happened to be extremely close to him.

"Minerva's in the great hall, Albus." Severus said in an knowing tone.

"Thank you Severus" he said in his deep voice

"Good Luck!" Giggled Rolanda as Dumbledore walked away. "It's finally happening" Rolanda said in a dreamy state. "Just liked it happened with us" Severus said as his lying form lent up and lightly kissed her.

There was great noise the the great hall, a mixture of cries over lost ones and shouts over reunions with loved ones. In the middle stood Minerva. She like always, was helping, she was directing the injured to Poppy whilst attempting to organise what to do with the remaining students. The world around Dumbledore faded until all he could see was her graceful form. Her hair, normally constricted in a tight bun, was now flowing over her shoulders, reflecting the remaining days light. Her eyes sparkled with concern and love, and she moved with such elegance and grace, he had flashbacks to many a Yule ball.

He confidently strode though the crowd, ignoring the yells of "Its Dumbledore!" and continued straight towards Minerva. Minerva upon turned around on hearing the commotion and straight into Dumbledore."Albus…"She said her voice shaking "I thought…" but before she could continue he had put his strong arms around his waist and pulled her close to him. His blue crystal eyes looked down into the swirling pool of green before him. Then without a seconds thought, he closed the remaining few inches between them, and put his lips on hers.

The kiss was desperate and needy and so desperately passionate, all the pent up hidden feelings came out, everything that either of them wanted to say just poured out into that kiss. Her arms were around his neck, pulling him closer. When both of them became oxygen deprived then gently pulled apart.

People were cheering and wolf whistling, but they didn't notice.

Albus, finally noticing the surrounding crowds took her hand and gently lead her away to an abandoned corridor. There he pressed her up against the wall, lent down and just before he brushed his lips with hers whispered "I love you"
