"Ohhh wow that was awesome! High five!" Kendall could hear Logan cheering on little kids from the other side of the soccer field. He smiled a warm smile to himself, as he studied Logan's every move. Damn, he was so cute with kids.
Kendall's thoughts got interrupted by a hard pat on the back by James. "Hey dude, watch out, the ball is coming your way!" Before Kendall had time to react, the soccer ball hit him directly in the face.
He fell back on the floor, covering his bloody nose and blinking quickly, trying to get his vision back.
"Oh my god, Kendall! Are you okay?" He heard Logan running to him. As Logan sat beside Kendall, he said in a guilty voice, "I didn't mean to kick that ball as hard as I did… I thought you would have kicked it back." Kendall's vision had now turned back to normal, and he could see Logan's puppy eyes staring down at Kendall.
Kendall giggled, "It's okay, bro. It's my fault, I wasn't paying attention." Kendall and Logan shared a quiet moment together. Logan jumped up and looked around. "Hey… Where did everyone go?" Kendall also looked around; he saw no one on the soccer field. "I guess they moved on to the next activity."
Logan shrugged and looked back down at Kendall, who was now touching his nose and whispering Oww under his breath. "Does it still hurt?" Logan said as he sat back down, beside Kendall. "Just a little." Kendall replied, closing his eyes and putting pressure on the the bridge of his nose.
Kendall suddenly felt another two fingers on his nose, which weren't his own. He opened his eyes to see Logan smiling his adorable half smile, and lightly searching the bridge of Kendall's nose. "Does this hurt?" Logan applied a little pressure to a higher area of his nose. Kendall flinched, "Yeah, a lot."
After a few moments of pure silence, both Logan and Kendall started to feel rain drops hitting them. They looked up to the sky only to see light rain turning into harder rain. Kendall couldn't help but notice how cute Logan looked with wet hair, and by the look on Logan's face, he could tell Logan was thinking the same thing about Kendall.
Logan slowly stood up and held a hand out to Kendall. "Come on, I'll fix you up."
Without a doubt, Kendall firmly took Logan's hand into his and used his strength to pull himself up, since Logan wasn't that strong.
When he was almost standing, Logan suddenly slipped on the wet grass and fell back down, along with Kendall. They both hit the ground with a loud thug and splash.
At the same time, they started laughing loudly, as the rain fell down a little harder.
They were both soaked now, but they didn't care one bit.
"Logan?" Kendall asked. Logan's big brown eyes enlarged more than Kendall ever thought they could. "Yeah, Kendall?" Logan answered, smiling that half smile of his again.
After a long pause, Kendall whispered, "My nose still hurts."
Soon after, they both started giggling. "I can fix that."
Kendall knew exactly what Logan meant by that.
