A/N: Ok, this is INCREDIBLY short. Like, 400 words short. But I was having problems keeping away from Puckabrina, and I think what I wrote is pretty cute, if not kinda sad. This was written because some people thought I was insane for writing Daphne/Puck. (Yes, Epiphany on Toast and Pale-Face, I'm looking at you.) So, this is mainly Briar/Jake, but there is some cute Puckabrina. It's pretty fluffy, though, so if you can't handle fluff, turn back now. :) But, if you like Briar/Jake and/or Puckabrina fluff, read on.

Disclaimer: These are getting increasingly annoying...

Sabrina POV

I peeked into the room where my Uncle Jake was, with his bride-to-be Briar Rose. They were cuddled up together on the couch, Briar sitting on his lap, his hand stroking her hair. Their eyelids were drooping, and I was sure they would be asleep before long.

I was glad that they were lying together, just enjoying each other's presence. I'd taken a trip to the future and, well… Briar Rose hadn't really been around. Not that I'd told anyone of that. But with the war with the Scarlet Hand looming closer and closer, I knew their time was growing shorter and shorter. I was glad they had some time to spend with each other, just enjoying the other's presence.

A pair of familiar arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me against a solid chest. "What are you looking at?" Puck whispered in my ear.

"Them." I replied softly.

"Why?" he asked.

I gave a small sigh and turned in his arms, facing him. "I'm just thinking. Life is short, Puck, and soon we're going to be in full out war. People are going to get killed, there are going to be casualties and I'm just glad, I guess, because at least they get some time together before… before they might be torn away from each other." I turned back around to watch Uncle Jake and Briar. She turned in his arms and he placed a kiss on her cheek, making me smile. Jake turned, saw us, and winked, putting a finger to his lips in a shh motion. We nodded and watched as he turned back around, watching her sleep. I bet that Puck and I could have had an all-out brawl right there and he wouldn't have noticed, too focused on her to pay any attention to us. That thought made me smile again, but a little more sadly this time. Is there anyway to change what has already been determined?

"You know what I wonder," Puck muttered, and I turned to see a mischievous smirk on his face: never a good sign. "I wonder why you won't let me do that to you."

I tried stepping back, sure that this wasn't going to end well, but with a whoop that had Jake glaring at us, Puck picked me up in his arms and flew off. As we flew out the door into the cool autumn air, I saw Briar safe in my uncle's arms, as together they laughed.

A/N: So, all those that hated Gone, is this better for you? Short, yes, but cute, I think, especially since it was written in literally five minutes. So... reviews telling me that it didn't suck?
