You walk into the store, confused. All you got was a text from Logan saying "Meet me at the clothing store down the street, quick! You dont want to miss it." You find that you're out of breath from running all the way here, even though it wasn't a long run. When you step inside the store, you search around, looking for Logan. You finally spot him at the back of the store, beside a changing room door. His eyes were concentrated on a magazine.
"So what didn't you want me to miss?" Logan jumps a little when he sees you.
"Hey babe!" As he reaches over you to hug you, he smiles a warm smile, and you can see sparks of excitement in his eyes. He pulls you into a tight hug, squeezing your body.
You smile weakly, still confused. He seems so happy.. but why?
"What's the big thing you wanted me to see?" You give him a playful expression.
"OH right! Well…" He sits down on a nearby bench and gently pulls you down beside him. "I've been thinking about this whole 'me being a dad thing'," A smile fills your face. You loved the idea of Logan being a father, and frankly, he was a great father.
You and Logan had already had a kid, who was now 2 years old. He was the cutest kid ever! He had Logan's chocolate brown eyes that shinned in the sunlight, and Logan's short brown hair. Every time you saw your little Patrick, you could see Logan's face reflected in his own.
"… And I don't just want to be any dad, I want to be the BEST dad Patrick could ever wish for." Logan continued.
You gently kissed Logan's nose, "But babe, you ARE the best dad!" A giggle escaped your mouth.
Logan blushed a little as an even bigger smile creeped back on his face.
"But just wait until you see what I've done!" Logan showed sincere in his eyes as he got up from the bench and walked over to the changing room door he was standing beside when you first came into the store.
As Logan opens the door, a little boy stumbled out. You could recognize this boy from miles away; It was Patrick.
But today, Patrick looked a little different.
He managed to make his way to you, tripping over the baggy jeans he was wearing. Thank god he was wearing a black belt, otherwise, his pants would be on the floor the second he stepped out of that changing room.
You then noticed his shoes; they looked adorable on him. They were all black vans, the kind that were fatter and thicker than converse shoes.
His top was a purple t-shirt, that hung down over his chest. On the shirt, was a picture of batman, in black. Under the design, it said "I'm batman's sidekick!" This was obviously a cute inside joke with him and his dad, you thought.
Finally, a hat rested on his head. This hat was way too big for his head, but it was still cute. It was an all black hat, with the word "OBEY" pasted on the front in white and red.
Patrick flicked his hat a little higher on his head and winked at his mom.
You couldn't help but giggle; He was a mini version of Logan!
"Aww Patrick, what did Daddy do to you?" You joked as you pulled your son into a tight hug, accidentally tipping the hat off his head.
Logan appeared behind Patrick, smiling down at you.
A quiet laugh escaped from his mouth. "So I think I'm getting the hang of this whole 'being a dad' stuff."
