Hello:) This is my first No. 6 fic after watching it yesterday! I liked it SOOOO much that I decided to write this one-shot. I don't think it's really a song fic, but I used the lyrics of Miley Cyrus' 'I miss you' in my story as I thought it was really suitable:) So yes, continue to read:D
Dedication: This one-shot is dedicated to my awesome friend Zhang Aaron Xun for introducing me to No. 6:D ETERNAL THANKS (hearttt)
Disclaimer: I don't own No. 6.
-Sion-
Staring down the railing, Sion sighed. It had been already four years since he had last seen Nezumi – he was 20 now. Absently petting Inukashi's dog with one hand, he just sat on the balcony of his house and thought of the few months that he had shared with Nezumi in the West District.
"I miss him… I want to see him again…" Whispering to himself, Sion sighed again, knowing that it was almost impossible to find Nezumi when he did not want to be found. A tear slowly flowed out of his left eye.
Sion had already been to the West District a few times with the excuse of visiting Inukashi and Rikiga. But deep down, he knew his real reason was to look for Nezumi. For every time he climbed down those stairs, the same number of times would he be disappointed as the room would be in the same state as it was the last time he came.
These results disappointed him, but as hard as he tried, Nezumi was like a mouse, always hiding in the shadows.
-Nezumi-
Nezumi wanted to see him. The first thought when he woke up would be of Sion, the last one would also be of the same man. The four years of separation from the shorter man was taking a heavy toll on Nezumi, always had and always would.
Even so, Nezumi wanted Sion to have a happy life. After Sion had been kicked out of Chronos for helping him, Nezumi knew life had been tough for the young man. Now that the wall had been torn down, No. 6 was no more. Sion would have a chance at happiness with his mother again.
To avoid meeting the man again, Nezumi had taken to moving away from his home, abandoning all his precious classics. Although the big sacrifice, Nezumi felt no regret over his actions. That was how much he loved Sion.
Sometimes, he would pick up the monitor that was connected to Hamlet. Connecting to the camera in the tiny robot's eyes, Nezumi would sometimes be fortunate to catch a few glimpses of Sion.
As Nezumi sat on a destroyed wall, he once again switched on the monitor, His heart leapt at the head-on view of Sion's face. His white hair, his red scar on his right cheek, his red eyes. Everything about Sion called out to him, Nezumi ached to respond,
'I miss him… I want to see him again…' Nezumi's eyes widened with shock as a tear flowed out of Sion's eye. Reaching out to stroke Sion's face on the screen, Nezumi began to sing quietly to himself.
"I miss you, I miss your smile
And I still shed a tear every once in a while
And even though it's different now
You're still here somehow
My heart won't let you go
And I need you to know
I miss you
I miss you… "
Getting up, he set his mind onto his next destination…
- On Sion's balcony-
Sion rubbed at his face as the sun started to set. He had been sitting on the hard metal chair for hours. Getting up to stretch, he suddenly felt strong arms wrapping themselves around his waist. Startled, he squirmed around and found himself face to face with … Nezumi.
"Ne—Nezumi…" Sion whispered in disbelief as he stared at the man in front of him. 'Am I seeing things now…?' Nezumi could see that Sion did not trust his own eyes. Bursting out into huge guffaws, Nezumi leaned down towards Sion, giving him a soft, sweet kiss.
"I'm really here, and I'm staying with you. Because this is where my heart is… Sion…"
Haha, hope you enjoyed it! Reviews are welcome! Thanks for reading:D
