Jensen looked behind them again and saw that it was still following them. Well, mostly following Cougar, not that Jensen blamed the little thing, Cougar was addictive. He turned back to Cougar who was obviously trying very hard not to notice the cat.
"Please?" Jensen asked, his voice pleading. Perhaps if he just kept asking Cougar would give in like he usually did.
"No." Cougar answered quietly. It was hard for him to deny Jensen anything.
"Pleeeeease. It can live in my room, I'll take care of it." Cougar just sighed.
"We share a room."
"I know that, so it will just have another cat to keep it company." Jensen smiled at him and Cougar sighed. How could this childish man manipulate him so easily? "So can we keep it?"
"No."
Jensen didn't say anything back, just turned around and picked up the cat. It struggled until it saw Cougar looking at it and the cat relaxed and started purring.
"Come on. Just look how cute it is." He held the cat towards Cougar.
"Cute or not you know how Clay and Roque feel about animals in the house. Besides you can barely take care of yourself and that doesn't bode well for the gato."
Jensen just looked and Cougar and took another step forward until he and Cougar were just a few inches apart. He would have moved closer but he still held the cat.
"Please," he said again before bending down to kiss the sniper.
"Maybe your sister will take in another stray." Jensen smiled, Cougar had finally caved in.
"She took in you didn't she?"
