Pierce and Sith Marauder pairing (Khaali – light sided. She's laid back and fun loving. Ruthless and vicious to her enemies. She does not care for the hierarchy and will always do what her conscience dictates. Ticklish)
We landed on the Dromund Kaas spaceport and hurried to the meeting. Our man was waiting and we desperately needed this guy.
Khaali was chatting lightly with Lana, chuckling at something the sith lord had said. I shook my head. For such a tiny person, she was immensely powerful and in a weird way, strangely fragile. She had a sad look in her eyes that I knew well. I saw it every day in the mirror. It was the look of somebody who had their heart ripped out of their chest.
I scanned the room for the man we were looking for. He was standing near the wall, looking like he'd rather blow up the guy he was talking with, than chat with him. He was immense, the kind of guy people avoided because they knew he was big trouble. He also had a reputation as one of the best black-ops the empire had, a ruthless killer.
Khaali didn't know who we were recruiting, only that he was an ex black-ops soldier. She rarely had any patience for debriefings unless they were of utmost importance and she liked talking to people whiteout biases. She wanted to form her own opinions.
Suddenly Khaali stopped like frozen in time, her eyes widened, her breath grew labored like she was having difficulties drawing air into her lungs. Then she sprang into motion running towards the man. I was shocked, I tried to stop her, but she violently threw me away. Whiteout stopping she launched herself at the man. I froze. I could see the soldier stiffen as he heard her footsteps and his shock as he turned and saw her. To my surprise he dropped his gun and just opened his arms to catch her, crushing her to him, holding her like he was afraid that she was going to disappear the moment he let her go. Then the man drew his hand into her hair and whiteout losing eye contact he kissed her ferociously.
I wanted to look away, it was private, desperate, but I could not. They stopped the kiss when the need for air became too much and he buried his head in her hair, breathing deeply. "You're real" he whispered softly while holding her tighter in his embrace. I managed, this time, to look away and give them some privacy. Lana had a soft look in her eyes and a small smirk on her lips.
"You knew?" I asked her. "I did" she answered.
The softly spoken words introduced the couple to the reality. They were attracting quite the crowd since everybody, apparently, knew who they were: the infamous wrath, necking in the streets with the empire's most famous recruiter was bound to attract a crowd. Still even if the said wrath blushed, she just clung tighter to him and the soldier just growled and glared at everybody while gently rubbing her back. The image they presented was heartwarming. I never saw that light in her eyes before.
Grinning at the two of them I chuckled "So, welcome to the alliance Major Pierce"
