Tsukiyomi Ikuto was lacking inspiration.

It was almost amusing. Him? Tsukiyomi Ikuto? Lacking inspiration? It was almost absurd to even think of, impossible to happen. But yet, it was true.

He had not played a single melody in weeks. Or at least, none that satisfied him. He kept on playing, trying to find a tune that would satisfy him, but all the melodies left him annoyed and exhausted. Why couldn't he ever get it right?

If he managed to be contented with one part, he'd find that the other segments seemed to lack something. He'd change them, and then find that the first part didn't flow well with the others. It seemed to continue in a vicious cycle, making him get even more agitated each time. There were a few times when he'd been too hard on his precious violin, and broken a few strings.

And that was on a good day. On other days, he couldn't even get play a few bars before getting annoyed and shoving his violin back into its case. The violin had not suffered any serious injuries, thankfully. Ikuto knew better than to abuse his instrument. He was just so frustrated!

He just needed motivation, inspiration.

He just needed that glorious spark, that bright flame to light up this dull and bleak period.

He just needed anything or anyone to come and give him an idea or a brainwave.

He just needed a muse.

Alright. So this is just a simple oneshot, really. It's written from the prompt I was given : Muse. The prompt is from the Shugo Chara! forum The Innovation. I admit, this oneshot's seriously uncreative, but what can I do? I kinda feel the same way as Ikuto, inspiration for a story isn't really hitting me.

Well, yeah. I've been seriously inactive on FanFiction after that first oneshot of mine, but I'm hoping to be active again when I've sorted out my daily schedule and stuff... My PenName will probably be changing, too.

...You know, most stories in the Shugo Chara! archive are kinda not up to my expectations... So I'd love to get story recommendations from you guys out there, if it's not too much trouble. I'm also looking for Vampire Knight, Naruto, and Twilight fanfictions.

I hope I didn't make Ikuto too out of character in this one, or anything... If you have any ideas for a story or a oneshot, I'll consider it. ^_^

Thanks for reading this story, I really appreciate it.

P. S. : In Japan, first names are said last, and last names said first. Therefore, instead of Ikuto Tsukiyomi, I put Tsukiyomi Ikuto. But I guess you already know that, don't you?
