This is dedicated to LanaCullen'Ox who is twilight (and Harry Potter!) obsessed, I offered to write my first story for her after reading all her fics, they were awesome :) Enjoy!
I DON'T OWN TWILIGHT!
I could hear nothing but her heart beat and I could smell nothing but the blood that was running through her veins. I knew that staying in the room would bring about my destruction, but I had to know her.
She walked past casually and sat alone at the desk in front of me, tucking her hair smartly bahind her ears. The sweet scent filled my nostrils and I had to clench my stool to stop me from standing up and killing her right then and there.
I didn't know her name, but I didn't want to, as I knew I would want her more then. She turned around and smiled to Jessica, my science partner who sat next to me and continually talked all throughout the lesson.
Jessica returned the smile, as I stared coldly at the girl in front, wishing her gone so my temptation to kill would vanish. I knew I wouldn't last long, so when the fan was switched on and her smell was stronger than before, I knew I had to leave.
I grabbed my school books and stormed out of the classroom, slamming the door behind me.
Sitting in reception, I was disgusted at my lack of control over myself and began looking into my classmates thoughts to see their reaction.
Don't know why he left. Was it something I did? Do I smell funny? Oh dear..I couldnt help laughing at what went on in Jessica's head. everyday she found a new way to amuse me without even knowing.
What a freak! Storming out like that! Thinks he's so tough - maybe now I can get a chance to chat up the new girl without him staring at her like he's about to kill her....that would be amusing....yeah, like in those films where they kill people....I smiled, Mike was a bigger idiot than anybody in our year. His ego was about as big as the country's land span, although none of the girls were interested.
I sighed and lent back on the chair. I knew that I had to get back to class soon, but she was so tempting...surely one slip up wouldn't hurt anyone...no. Shut up Edward.
The door swung open and the sweet smell returned to my nose. I turned, she had come into the room, holding a piece of paper.
'Excuse me? Can you tell me where room 3a is please?' She leant over the desk slightly. Her voice was pleasant and as I looked closer at her, I noticed her eyes were a dark brown. I concentrated on her, trying to hear her thoughts...but there was nothing.
I frowned, feeling confused.
'Sure Lana. Keep on down the coridoor, past the girls toilets and to your left.' the receptionist answered. Lana? It was an unusual name, but pretty, it suited her very well and I liked the way it was different.
I shook my head, lowering it to the floor until she left the room. I took a quick sharp breath to make sure that her smell was gone. Seriously Edward. get a grip, you can't afford to lose everything you've worked for these past years. get your act together...
So what did you think? tell me in your reviews and I'll post the next chapter. This is my first book, so tell me your honest opinion, whether its bad or good :) thankyouu :)
