Carnival Games
"Edward, Alphonse! It's time to get up boys! The Risembool Carnival is in 45 minutes!" Their mom, Trisha shouted gently from downstairs.
"Yes mom." Alphonse replied in his usual cheery tone. He bolted upright and hopped out of his bed already on his way to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
As he passed his brothers bed Al whispered "Edward, you really should try to get up you know." slightly shoving his brother in an attempt to rouse him from his slumber unfortunately only making small pile of golden locks withdraw further under the covers.
"Uhh." Edward mumbled inaudibly. He took his pillow and shoved his face into it trying to block out any noise from reaching his ears. All he wanted to do was sleep; because he stayed up all night trying to perfect his alchemy. He literally stayed up past 11: 00 because of that damn horse he kept trying to make. Its ears constantly ended up looking like saggy piles of mush. Eventually though after very strenuous hours and a lot of pounding on walls he finally created a pair of ears.
After 5 minutes his alarm clock suddenly started ringing. It was screeching it repeatedly blaring it like a trumpet never stopping. On top of that every 5 seconds it escalated, going from someone banging on a snare drum as hard as possible to a freight train 1 foot away from you in a matter of 15 seconds.
After 20 seconds Ed exploded. His pillows, blankets, sheets, books, and everything within a 5 foot radius of the 6 year old was shooting across the room like crashing meteors. Edward then trudged over to the piece of clockwork and kicked it with all of his might into his bedroom wall causing it to disarm.
"Well how do you feel now you bastard! He shouted holding his foot all the while.
Ed then proceeded to stomp over to the bathroom mumbling about how that damn clock needed to be fixed.
