Hmm... read by yourself if this makes sense or not... maybe I was a bit high when I wrote this... doesn't make much sense to me anymore... no just kidding! I like this one very much!

Disclaimer: I don't even have a boyfriend, how could Inu Yasha belong to me?

His smile

It wasn't love at first sight... no. The first time she saw him, she just was fascinated at his appearance.

The way he looked as if he was sleeping, a soft look on his face, almost smiling... Smiling. Why was he smiling? Did he dream during the time he hang there, in his (intended) eternal sleep? And if, what would he have dreamt about? Happy times with Kikyo? She didn't know. And she never asked him. Don't bring up touchy subjects, unless it is necessary, Kagome knew that much now.

But, back to the time she had first seen him... first seen his smile. First seen his beautiful, long white hair going with the wind. Adorable ears placed on his head. His smooth, tanned skin, upon it the blending rays of the sunlight. His handsome face... more than handsome. Indescribably beautiful. And his smile, so pure, so carefree, so ...for Kikyo.

Yes, she had been stunned. But it was no love... Love came later. But when it came, it hit her right in the face. Suddenly, there was the realisation. I love him... and then, she didn't know when she had fallen in love with him. It had surely started at the first day. But love needs time, and she understood that all too well.

Then, on the same day, she saw him again. And she saw a totally different side of him. But... as she had looked into his amber eyes, she'd understood immediately. There was so much pain, sadness, heartache, and oh so much loneliness.

It was because of this look that she decided to always come back to him, till this look vanished and was replaced by a happier one.

She looked at the sleeping Inu hanyou next to her. He looked so peaceful in his sleep, a smile on his face. Her mood saddened a bit. A smile... for who?

He slowly stirred and opened his eyes. His smile widened slightly, his eyes full of happiness, love and... need? Oh, those demons, she grinned.

"Inu Yasha? Who were you dreaming about?", she asked softly.

"You.", he simply said and kissed her.

And then she knew. Knew why she hadn't fallen in love with him on the first sight. It would have been a sin. A sin, not to get to know him better and learn about his many sides and be blinded by love. Because, with open and seeing eyes, he was much more beautiful.

And now, this beautiful hanyou was hers. He and his smile, his smile for her.

What do you think? Makes sense or not? Maybe it is just because I couldn't find the right words to express this in English... I dunno.
