Kitten slowly rolled over onto her back. The cold metal floor bit into her exposed back. She would have jumped up but the pain was too much at the moment. She let out a long groan and used her right arm, the only one which could barely hold her body weight, to lift herself off the ground.
She attempted to use her other arm to sit in a more comfortable position, but the second she did it erupted in pain. Her blue eyes didn't bother trying to hold back the tears, specks of water spills over her cheeks and dripped onto her vibrant pink tube-top, an opposite reflection of how she felt. Pink was supposed to symbolize tranquility and peace, she felt no peace only sharp moments of pain happening at every minuscule movement.
She got over the pain in her left arm and used it to wipe the tears out of her eyes and off of her face, despite that fact that it didn't prevent them from coming. She did not want to cry, the man she loved shouldn't make her cry. He was a sweetheart she had no reason to cry. Crying was being ungrateful for all that he had given her. He was her personal hero and it was her fault that she had crossed him when he was angry.
"I knew better…" She trailed off letting her words linger in the stall air of the complex. He had just lost his target, that never happened, it was her fault he hit her she had irritated him. That's all she was, annoying. A worthless annoying, spoiled brat, but he accepted and loved her despite that; people just can't take it forever. He never meant to hurt her, and he never would again.
"He's doing this for Kiba." she said softly rubbing her stomach. They had started trying for a kid now, she often wondered if that was the only reason he ever put up with her. He wanted a boy, so she would give him one, and when he was born than everything that Slade was doing would make sense and it would all have a purpose. This would teach their child to obey their parents and to be strong, after all after every hit she took she got a little bit tougher and a little bit wiser. As long as she kept learning from these encounters things would get better, things had to get better.
