She felt the soft texture of lips press against her own softly, the sort of kiss that said they'd see each other again soon. But the passion behind it too; even from just a little kiss like he'd given her, she knew it wouldn't be long until they were in each others arms again.

''Sleep well my Queen'' she tried hard not to smile as she was pretending to sleep, which was hard because she so wanted to be held again.

It had been so long since she'd been 'held', no one after Graham had even come close. With Graham though it was different. No passion, none of the spark she'd had last night with her Pirate.

Her Pirate.

Or was this just a one off? Would he run back to Miss Swan and wished this had all never happened?
But the kiss he'd given her must of meant something to him also.
So much...feeling behind it, even from such a small, delicate kiss.

As she thought this all over, she almost never heard the front door closing. She pulled back the warm blanket that covered her and quickly stepped out of bed and ran over to the window, quickly pulling back the curtains.

She saw the leather of his long coat flapping around in the early morning breeze, his hair blowing around too. She smiled softly to herself; he must of sensed someone was looking and he turned around to look up at her window.
Her heart must of stopped beating for a few seconds; because those eyes...those beautiful blue eyes, the ones she had saw so many times before, the ones that never gave her a perfectly delightful shudder down her spine; but now here she was, goosebumps forming on her arms and legs.

That world famous smirk of his spread across his handsome face, the one she wanted to slap so hard for making her feel so alive and young again, so much like how Daniel used to make her feel.

She watched him bow outside her house, the wind blowing his hair again. She smiled and shook her head slowly.
He stood back up and waved with his good hand, she waved back slowly and finally watched him walk away from her home and out of sight.

She shut her curtains and walked her way back over to the bed. She fell backwards onto it and stared up at the ceiling, smiling to herself. This feeling was much better than that constant pursue of revenge all the time, that gave her a rush which was quickly burnt away when she didn't win.
But this...this gave her that light back into her life, the one that had gone for so many long and painful years.

This was more intense than any revenge would get her.
This was what it felt to be truly happy.
