Never written for HP before. Well, I've never actually published a fic for HP. I like it, but I don't think it's quite good. I've got more in the works. An Alice/James and a Harry/Hermione. I hope you enjoy!

I OWN NOTHING. Not Harry Potter or that ridiculously beautiful song. All rights belong to their respective owners.

"And here comes a secret, my darkest, my deepest

I've been fighting for the longest time."

- Just Fine by Meghan Tonjes

He's the sun and she's the moon.

He shines brighter than any light she's ever seen. Whenever they're together his light reflects off of her, making her luminous.

But, she's the moon and she lives in the night – in darkness.

And darkness never belonged with light anyway, did it?

You see, she goes through cycles. Sometimes she's bright and fully herself (only with him), sometimes she can't even be seen, and most of the time she's only a fraction of herself.

That's the difference between the two.

He's always constant. Always himself. Always shining bright for the whole world to see.

Then there's Victoire. She's like the stars - bright lights that everyone looks for. Twinkling and sparkling. She's the one who everyone puts there hopes on; who they always seem to look for first.

Lily is just the moon; just an afterthought.

Look at all those stars! Look at how bright they shine!

The moon is quite pretty tonight.

Eh, the stars shine brighter. They always do.

The sun and the stars always get more attention. Together they are the talk of the town. And shouldn't perfect things always go together?

Lily can only wait for the night. He's always hers then; when she's all he can see and feel.

He blazes and she glows because of it.

And unlike these beautiful things that blaze, twinkle, and glow forever, these patterns will change for their human counterparts.

Victoire and Teddy will soon marry and Lily will lose all her nights with him.

Teddy will begin to fade, Victoire will lose some of her sparkle, and Lily will hide away her heart forever.

But, for now, they're content with blazing and glowing together. If only for now.

"And, when we're together it's always so much better."

I would greatly appreciate reviews! :)
