Hot.
That was the only way to describe the unusual weather in this small town. Everybody was trying to escape the extreme heat of one hundred and ten degree weather. Fans were blowing in all four corners of the store called 'Coyote Records.' Empty bottles of water were scattered all over the desk in the front. Ryder and Skye seemed to take this heat wave the worst. You would think that the stories of vampires and werewolves were not real and in just some fairytale, think again.
There were plenty of those.
"Ryder." Skye complained.
"Wha?" she answered.
"Let's close and try to escape the heat."
"We kinda can't Skye." She rolled her eyes and Sierra walked out of the small office in the back.
"Why are y'all so grumpy?"
"Sierra," Ryder started.
"It's hot!!" Skye was getting edgy.
Sierra looked at the clock. The boys were supposed to come in any minute.
She grinned.
"What are you smiling about?" Ryder growled. The over-happy vampire pointed at the clock and then the door as they all saw them coming in.
"Well can't you see that it's just raining," Edward started.
"Your kidding right." Ryder stated.
"There ain't no need to go outside," Jake sung.
"I beg to freakin' differ." Skye growled.
"But baby you hardly even notice, when I try to show you," Jasper walked gracefully over to Sierra.
The girls had no clue what was going on.
"This song is meant to keep ya, from doing what you're supposed to," Jake continued.
"Okay, y'all can stop now."
Skye and Ryder were getting irritated.
"Like waking up to early," Edward said. Jake jumped onto the desk while knocking over a couple of water bottles.
"Maybe we can sleep in," Jake offered as he looked at Skye.
"Making banana pancakes," Sierra sung back at Jasper.
"Pretend like it's the weekend now."
"Okay, I give up." Ryder and Skye said in unison.
The rest of the gang just laughed as Sierra flipped the sign from open to closed.
