Hi y'all! This is my first fanfic in over 2 years. Hopefully, my writing has gotten a bit better since then, haha. I read the MHA manga, and love the Todomomo ship. Hopefully, more people will support this pairing once the End of Term arc is converted into anime.
This takes place right after the Hero License Arc. I plan on doing a 2-part story. Part 1 will be more Slice of Life and will focus on Shouto and Momo's relationship. Part 2 will be more action and adventure based, but it'll tie up elements from Part 1.
As of this publication date, I have most of Part 1 drafted. I don't intent on making this too much of an AU story, so I'm partially just waiting and seeing what the manga will bring next, which will obviously affect Part 2 more. I want this story to be something could realistically be happening alongside the actual plot but not explicitly shown.

Right on schedule with just enough time to study for that written test tomorrow, Shouto thought as he slipped his smartphone back into his pocket and jogged back from the hospital. The sun had just dipped below the horizon. The sky faded from a bright orange to a dusky blue. He could see his home just a little ahead, relieved that he would get home before dinner time.
So many life-changing events had occurred in the past two or three months that only Shoji, with his tentacle extensions, could count them by finger: the Sports Festival, the villain raid at the forest lodge, and, most recently, All Might's retirement—to name a few. There were too many stories to tell, though not all of them should be told, to his mother. Like always, he had ended his visit finishing up halfway through one before having to hurry home. Although the students now had dormitories, like his peers whose parents lived close by, he still spent the weekends at home, not because he missed his father, but because he wanted to spend time with his sister, Fuyumi, who had been his rock the past ten years since his mother left. Plus, the hospital was closer to his home than it was to the school. He had made a habit of spending his weekends at the hospital, leaving after his father left for patrol and returning just before his father did. No one else knew about this secret of his. And that was the way it was to remain.
Although Shouto knew that he shouldn't view himself as Endeavor's son, Shouto still feared that he may lose control of his left side. It was his power, but it was one that he had yet to tame completely. Shouto vowed to achieve this goal, but until then, he would be was enveloped in a fire that, as Izuku put it, kept people just out of arm's reach. However, there were a few people could extinguish his flames—his mother being the most prominent one. Because of that, Shouto believed that he needed to see his mother in order to become the ideal hero. He needed a light to help him through this confusing time in his life, and he had to ensure that that light didn't flicker out.
Reaching his front door, Shouto slid the old, wooden door opened and slipped off his shoes once inside. From his peripheral vision he could see the shape of his sister.
"Hey, what's up?" He asked nonchalantly, paying no attention to what was behind her.
"Shouto, I'm sorry," She replied solemnly.
At the sound of her concerned voice, he lifted his head immediately, only to find his father, Endeavor, towering right behind her, flames burning in his eyes.
A/N:
As a warning, the first few chapters will be pretty short, but I promise they'll get normal-length. I don't intend on writing a story that's just bare bones. There will be fluff and drama and suspense, I promise.
