World's Famous…an extension of 'DirtySexyMoney'
Peter Parker was through with being Spider-Man. It had cost him so much. He'd lost Mary Jane, Aunt May was dead now, and Harry…someone he'd thought was his best friend, had turned his back on him. Peter was through with risking his life, and endangering those that loved him.
Doc Oc had nearly killed him on more then two occasions, and any of his other enemies….Well, let's just say that they'd done pretty much the same.
So…after over five years as the masked crusader, he'd decided to give it all up….He was now just a regular citizen of New York City.
Strolling down the streets of NYC, Peter looked at the one-way mirror of the store right next to him. He looked oh-so-plain. His mouth twisted as he looked himself over. As he looked around, he saw a salon, and then he smiled.
He rushed across the street, ignoring the blaring of the horn, and walked into the salon. Everyone looked up as the bell that sounded entrance into the salon chimed.
Peter smiled at them and took off his black glasses. "I want a makeover."
(Across town) Mary Jane turned over in the bed, having just made love to her ex-boyfriend, James Whittaker. He was exhausted. She looked over her shoulder and brushed her red hair back so she could see him.
He was covered in a warm sweat. As he turned to her, he grinned at her. Mary Jane presented a fake grin at him and turned back on her side.
Laying next to you, I'm saying to myself 'girl, when are you going to figure it out?' Cause, I'm sick of being played like a fool, doing it your way, playing the same game.
Mary Jane pulled the white sheet that was on the bed and stood up, wrapping it around her, revealing James' naked body. He looked up at her.
"M.J., what's the problem?"
She looked at him, holding the sheet in place, looking like she was dressed in a toga. "James', I'm tired of going through the motions with you."
He sighed and put both of his hands on his face. "UGH, M.J.! We just got through making love! Why do you keep starting arguments!?!?!"
She turned and walked away, pulling her hair over her right shoulder.
"Mary Jane!"
She rushed into the bathroom and dropped the sheet. She sighed heavily as she stepped into the shower.
She was so unhappy. Then, she turned the dial and the water hit her body. She turned the dial as hot as she could take it.
I was looking at you, saying to myself 'girl, when are you going to open your mouth?' while you were making love to me. James—GOD!—he was staring in my eyes telling me all those lies. This situation's getting so old, and I just wanna go away, it just doesn't feel right.
Mary Jane began to sob, she kneeled and wrapped her arms around her legs, and she cried. "Where's Peter Parker when I need him?"
