Mr. Linden's Library
On the corner of 59th street there lay a fairly new library. The library had belonged to a young man named Jonathan Linden. This library was a great place for all adults and children too!
Until one day.
A young girl named Marisa began," It was a dark and stormy night in late September. There was thunder and lightning, at that moment when the lightning struck it hit Mr. Linden and killed him."She paused.
"Now ever since then, no one would even go near Mr. Lindens Library anymore."
Her friend Paige began," Then one day, it was late afternoon if I remember well enough, a young teenage girl named Sarah came to find a book. She had said that she was new to town and was looking for a book called "Shadows in the Moonlight," by Martha Cats, and decided to go into Mr. Lindens Library."She paused forgetting the rest.
Marisa took over" When she had walked in she was hearing voices whispering to each other. Sarah began to get nervus, and worried but she kept on walking toward the book shelf. As she was about to pull the book off of the shelf she heard a young man's voice say" You better watch out little girl!"
Now she was even more nervus but she grabbed the book and ran out!" She paused scared also forgetting the rest.
Paige began again remembering some more of the story,"When she had gotten home she over heard her parents talking about the haunted library. Now Sarah was sooo worried she just ran up to her room and began to cry alittle. But that night when she was lying in her bed she picked up the book and began to read a note that she saw attached to the front cover. It read…
"Once you open this book you are cursed for what's left of your life. But if you want to live then do as I say, return this book back to Mr. Lindens Library first thing in the morning and don't ever read this book again!"
Now they both had for got the rest of the story, but lucky for them their best friend Josh remembered the rest and began on with it." Sarah began to get really scared but that little girl opened the book and began to read it anyways. As she was about half way through the book a small vine began to poke out of the page. As it grew larger it began to wrap around her neck and she was dead instantly. Her parents were awoken with a loud scream of an on coming car, which had seen the vine out the window. They walked into their daughter's room and found the book closed tightly on the floor beside their dead daughter. They both picked up the book and heard a small voice that had sounded a lot like their daughters. It had said," He had warned me about this book many times but I didn't listen to him and now look at me. So now I am warning you not to open this book!" Her parents got freaked and ran off!
And now every time someone would step foot any where near Sarah's house or Mr. Lindens Library they were never seen again and died the same way that Sarah did or sometimes the way Mr. Linden died." He was done with the story.
Sarah" Watch out for me!"
The rest of them, Marisa, Paige, and Josh, screamed and were never seen again!
