Unfortunly i don't own this song or Fullmetal Alchemist :(

_

It's time I stand up to him. I'm sick of him pushing me around. He may be my father, but he's not my dad. He never was and never will be.

I sit in my room and think of what I'll say to him. I'll show him I'm not pathetic or a loser.

I hear the Front door open.
"Edward! Get down here now!"

I stand up and look in the mirror. A bruised eye and split lip.
'I can do this. I'm my own person. No one can tell me what to do anymore.'

I walk down the steps and stop at the last step. Staring at HIM.
"What are you doing just standing there? Where the fuck is my dinner? Why haven't you even started yet, you fucking idiot?" He yell at me. Back handing me on the left cheek.
I smile.

"You, with your words like knives, and swords and weapons that you use against me. You, have knocked me off my feet again, got me feeling like a nothing.
You, with your voice like nails on a chalkboard, calling me out when I'm wounded. You, picking on the weaker man. Well you can take me down with just one single blow, but you don't know what you don't know…
Someday, I'll be living in a big ol' city, and all you're ever gonna be is mean. Someday, I'll be big enough so you can't hit me, and all you're ever gonna be is mean. Why you gotta be so mean?" I said storming back up the stairs.

"Who gave you the right to stand up to me? Who gave you any right at all? Just WHO do you think you are.." he yelled following me up the steps

"I'm the person whose about to walk out the front door and live my own life, no more telling me what to do. I'm finally gonna move away and be the strong person I am. I'll move in with a nice guy and he will treat me with respect." I said proudly.

"A fag? I've been living with a fag?" He looked at me with disgust.

"Yep! For 18 years. Congratulations, you're the only one to blame." I winked, clicking my tongue while pointing.

I packed my stuff, while he watched the whole time from my bedroom door.

When I was done packing the last thing. I walked to the door, he stood there for a minute then moved aside.

Everything already was going MY way, for once, I was in control.
