I rushed around my room, picking up warm clothes and useful objects from the floor. Carefully I shoved them in my already over packed backpack on my unmade bed. I then zipped it up and threw on my lap as i sat down on my bed.

I glanced one last time at the cluttered messy room. The walls had faded from a bright pink to a dull peach since the last time it was painted, which was probably before i was born. The room itself was small and old, the floor was layered with clothes from my silent rampage. It's not like i would miss the prison cell I called my room, but i certainly would miss having a roof over my head and maybe even my parents... No. I had to go now and i could feel my hesitation building up, but i had to leave. It was now or never.

I got up from sitting on my bed and threw the backpack over my shoulders. I quietly walked to my door and opened the squeaky door as softly as i could, then shut it soundlessly behind me. Turning my back on my bedroom door, i tip-toed down the hall and downstairs into the kitchen. I then took a deep breath and reached for the door that would lead to my freedom and out of this hell hole.

As soon as I stepped though the doorway and closed the door, i broke into a wild run across the lush grass, heavy with early morning dew. It took only a few minutes to reach the overgrown forrest, but it felt like hours. I slowed from my wild run to a swift jog and stopped at a clearing about a half a mile into the forrest for a break.

I scanned the forrest while running my fingers through my matted brown hair. I was looking for a nice rock to sit on, but instead found a nice log. Well... good enough right? I sat down and let my heart rate slow down. I felt very tired. Not only did i wake up at four in the morning, but i also only got five hours of sleep. I layed down on the log and stretched out. It was very comfy... I yawned as i realized i couldn't stay awake and let myself gently drift to sleep.
