I remember it as if it were yesterday..
Though it was years back when it actually took place.
My past, how I became what I once resented.
An android.
This is my story. And my sisters.

A blonde female sat on the cold tile floor, wearing nothing but a thin gown like the ones someone would wear in a hospital. Her hair was greasy and matted, as if she hadn't bathed in some time. She looked so weak and breakable…
The blonde also looked far too thin. By looking at her one would think she was ill or had an eating disorder, eyes sunken in and lips cracked.
She felt no better than she looked. It was apparent the female was slowly dying but she knew she would not be able to revel in the release that was death.
No..That man.. Doctor Gero as he called himself would not allow her that release.
The female looked to the only other person in the room: a male with dark raven hair. He lay in bed on his side, the only movements made the weak rise and fall of his chest. This was her brother. He looked just as bad as she did if not worse. The endless surgeries had taken more of a toll on him than herself.
She stood slowly, staggering over to the bed.
"Lapis..We have to get out of here..Can you walk?" The blonde asked, her voice raspy from disuse.
"I can move but I'll only slow you down. You should just go without me." came the reply from the raven haired teen, voice a mixture of pain and also fear.
"No! I won't do this without you. Now..come on." Lazuli growled in a hushed tone, wrapping an arm around her brother and helping him out of bed. She was weak as it was so being the support for herself and her brother was by no means an easy feat.
Footsteps on the tiled floor could be heard as the blonde guided her brother down the hallway. Their breathing was already labored and they hadn't hardly gotten anywhere yet. As they walked Lapis groaned, a few of his stitches popping open which made crimson begin to bloom on his gown.
With one arm around his waist she felt the warm liquid begin to seep through her fingers. Sapphire hues widened in alarm, her breath hitching. She led him down a dark hall before lowering him to the ground, trying not to panic. Lazuli had to weigh her options closely here. If they continued on they could get out but her brother could be fatally injured for all she knew.
If she stayed he could get medical attention but then they would be back to square one.
"Sis..Just go. What's the worst he can do to me now? Besides..I can't go with you." He asked with a weak cocky grin, looking up at her.
"NO, DAMMIT! If you're staying then I am too. We're family. We're..all we have left." The blonde bellowed, tears beginning to brim in her eyes.
"I won't abandon you. You're my little brother, idiot."
"How..touching this little scene is. As much as I'd love to listen to this little soap opera I have plans for you two." Came the cold reply of the doctor whom had arrived while they were talking.
"Get lost, you freak!" Lazuli aimed a weak and pathetic swipe at the doctor, only to be knocked out when he punched her, hitting the ground with a hard thud.
It was then that the raven haired male knew it was all over.
The doctor had won..Now they were completely at his disposal.
