It is with great regret to my readers that I inform you I am taking down Window Pane without offering you an ending. I am doing so because this is a story I wish to pursue further, without the pretenses of Deadliest Catch. In summary, I wish to tell you that this story ends in happiness and healing- but stories belong to the writer as much as they do the reader. It is for you to decided how Jackie and her brothers fare with the death of their father and the air of addiction that will be left for them to deal with (together and with self awareness). As for me, I will always hold to Jane Austen's view of stories: after great struggle, my characters will get all that they dream of and more.
Thank you for reading and reviewing my work. It really was a pleasure to hear from all of you.
