Just a short thing I wrote at school ~ Enjoy

After his fight with Makoto, Haruka sat at home feeling uneasy. This feeling came as the fight with Makoto really got to him along side the fact that he was unsure about what he was going to do after he graduated from school. It had seemed that he was the only one who had no idea what he wanted to do, Rin was going to chase his dreams to become a professional swimmer and was probably going to move internationally for his training, meanwhile makoto had just told him he was planning on heading to Tokyo for his studies. While here sat the dark haired boy clueless...
He wasn't like them...
Not Rin...
And not Makoto...
Dreams...?
Future...?
He didn't want any of that.
Haru wasn't the kind of boy to think about these things. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do...
There were a few things he did know of course.
Firstly, He wanted to be free. But he wasn't sure where that would take him anymore.
And second, That everyone around him his teachers, his classmates, the scouts and even now his own friends were all expecting a lot from him.

Haru sighed deeply as he lay down on his back to look at the ceiling above him, the scene was set just as it was before Makoto had left with Nagisa, Rei and himself to see the fireworks, the memory was so clear that Haru almost expected Makoto to come out of nowhere and drag him off again but deep down he knew that wouldn't happen. He sighed again as he looked at a sheet of paper he had picked up absent-minded 'Free~!' he repeated in his mind over and over again. Haru sat up slowly Why did Makoto have to act like this!?' he thought angrily scrunching the paper in his hand into a tight ball and throwing it to the other side of the room trying to hold back the tears forming in his eyes.

'I don't understand you. You want me to find one? Is that really something you can find just by looking for it? Forget it. However many times I listen, it's always the same! You can't find a dream just by looking for one! I'm fine with the way things are! Where I swim and who I swim for... I'm free to decide that for myself! All you ever do is meddle with everyone! Stop sticking your nose in everyone else's business! A dream? A future? Well What about yours? Stop going on about other people's futures when you haven't even decided on your own'

'I have decided to go to a university in Tokyo.'

It was at this moment that realization had struck the dark haired boy.
He was the one who had hurt Makoto, his friend was only trying to help him with his own future. More moments from his recent fight with his childhood friend ran through the young boys mind...

'If you truly want to stay as you are , I wont say anything. But... if it's just that you can't find a dream for yourself, I... would want you to find one.'

Haru rose to his feet and stumbled his way across to his room each phrase loud and clear in his mind...

'You're not fine! That's why we're telling you this! Nagisa and Rei and Rin…and me, it's because we all love you. Because we care about you. Why can't you understand that?!'

Haru felt numb as he fell down onto his bed...
Physically and Mentally...
His friends voice rang in his mind like a song on repeat...

'Even if they don't look different, both the sea and sky change. And so do we, Haru.'

There was nothing left for him now...
