Hello, everyone! Lilith here, and welcome to Tron!

If anyone was to ask my opinion, Tron is one of those Disney movies that could use more attention. I mean, seriously, for its time, it managed to create a colorful and amazing visual on the world of the computer!

Anyways, since I've brought this thing up, I hope you all enjoy!

I own absolutely nothing of Tron except my OCs.

Read, review, no flames.

Chapter 1: Hacking Attempt

"Alright-y, time to get to work on finding that data and set the record straight once and for all. You ready for this, Kelly?"

"Aw, c'mon, I've said countless times that I'd keep supporting you, even if you do something either completely crazy or completely stupid. Do I need to repeat myself again, Kevin?"

"Nuh-uh, don't do that again. You've already jammed it into my brain enough."

Kelly Flynn laughed at that as she took a chug of her coffee, watching as her older cousin, Kevin Flynn, got to work on his computer.

Kelly is a young woman in her early twenties – a stark contrast to Kevin as he is in his late twenties – with dark brown hair that waved around her head much like her cousin, dressed in casual clothes close to that of a hippie but toned down and less decorated; on her part, she felt relaxed in a thin-strap black sleeveless shirt under a low-cut long sleeved loose top and bellbottom pants, and her trademark leather boots.

Ever since she moved in with him after losing her parents as a teenager, nothing in her life has ever been boring or unexciting; if anything, she was glad to be around him. Even though they are cousins, they've lived under the same roof and behaved more like a brother and sister than actual cousins. Sure, she had her share of friends and enemies up to adulthood, but family was one of her biggest priorities; plus, she had yet to figure out where she wanted to achieve her greatness in the world.

Since they've just closed the arcade for the night, Kevin decided to give it another shot on finding the information they needed; for her, though, she was hoping that hacking into the system would be able to help her get revenge on someone she's really hated ever since he was canned from his job at ENCOM.

"So, you sure that Clu's gonna be able to find the data this time?" Kelly asked, leaning in to see what he's doing.

"Sure I'm sure. Otherwise I wouldn't be doing this, wouldn't I?" Kevin replied as he duly got to work.

"Okay, okay, I'm just checking," she nagged sarcastically.

"I'm touched," he sarcastically replied in a playful tone. "Now let's see what we can find, shall we?"

Kelly watched closely as Kevin began typing away on the keyboard, putting in every effort to make sure that the latest program created by him will be able to succeed where they had failed repeatedly.

"Okay, Clu, tonight we check everything in the right-hand column," Kevin murmured as he kept typing away. "Come on, come one, where are you?"

"Patience, Kev, patience. You'll find him," Kelly reassured him as awaited for results.

Inside a winding maze within the digital world, a lone tank drove through the winding path as though it was searching for something. Within the tank was a lone program piloting the digital machine, with an intriguing resemblance to Kevin Flynn, but created with one goal: to find that information the creator is looking for.

"There you are. Clu?" Kevin's voice came up.

"Yes, sir," Clu responded in a monotone voice.

"Now listen, we don't have much time to find that file. This is top priority."

"Yes, sir. I know, sir."

"Now this isn't correcting my bank accounts or a phone bill problem – this is a must."

"I understand."

"Now, I wrote you."

"Yes, sir.

"I taught you everything I know about the system."

"Thank you, sir, but…"

"No 'buts'. That's for Users," Kevin interrupted, "You're the best program that's ever been written. You're dogged and relentless, remember?"

"Let me at 'em," Clu said with a hint of confidence.

"That's the spirit. Keep that tank rolling," Kevin said, "I'll try to cover you from this end. Go!"

"You heard the man, Clu. Make us proud, will ya?" Kelly's voice piped up.

"Yes, ma'am," Clu replied.

After rolling around the labyrinth in that little tank, Clu came across a section where it seems to be a fast-traveling path to other regions of the system. The program couldn't help but wonder if this is the best route to use.

"Do you think we can merge with this memory, Bit?" Clu asked the flying little thing that was accompanying him.

"Yes." Bit replied as it flashed yellow.

It was finalized; Clue drove the tank through that passage and travelled down the path as a nice pace to the intended destination. He kept searching for what was required but with a hint of detecting a bit of trouble, like there's something completely out of place.

"Now, Flynn is saying to look over here, but I don't see what we're looking for," Clu noted.

Then, Clu pulled the tank over to a part of the system and began to look for the data within that grid-like area.

At the same time, in the real world, the cousins worked impatiently as they waited for something good to come out of their efforts. As much as they have faith in that program, neither of them could shake off the feeling that things are just not going their way.

"Come on, you scuzzy data, be in there," Kevin muttered anxiously, "Come on."

"I don't like this, Kev. I don't like it one bit," Kelly agreed with her voice on edge, "If just one stupid program gets in our way, I want to find who is responsible and see them deleted myself."

"As long as that person isn't me, I'm good," Kevin said with more unease in his voice, "Besides, you'd rather get your hands on that cheater than your old coworkers, right?"

"I'm not going to talk about him!" Kelly hissed angrily, "It was bad enough that he did crap to you. I don't want anything to do with that rat again!"

Knowing that his own cousin is practically under the urge to kill someone, Kevin immediately began typing away on his computer frantically, hoping that he could get a status on the missing file before Kelly does anything foolish.

Unfortunately, on Clu's part, as he drove further down the path, he suddenly noticed something that shouldn't even be there in the search.

"Uh-oh. We've got company." When he looked through the viewer, he realized what they were coming his way. "A Recognizer!"

In response to this threat, he began to fire away at the colossal security programs – Recognizers – in an attempt to blow them to bits. But for every one he was able to destroy, more would show up and engage in pursuit of the rogue program. The chase went on until one of the destroyed Recognizers left some rubble on the ground, making the tank slide out of control and careening into a wall. He managed to get out of the tank along with Bit, but he knew that danger was coming closer and there's a chance that someone's going to be deleted from the system for sure.

"Get out of here!" Clu shouted, not wanting the bit to get captured, too.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!" Bit answered as it flew away from the area and disappeared.

All Clu could do from there was watch helplessly as the Recognizers began coming down to prepare to detain him…

Meanwhile, Kevin and Kelly discovered that they had lost contact with the program; it didn't help when a message came up that read: ILLEGAL CODE…CLU PROGRAM DETACHED FROM SYSTEM. Needless to say, Kevin Flynn was none too happy about that.

"Damn it!" he shouted in frustration.

"We got busted again!" Kelly agreed irritably.

"God, and that was my best program," Kevin groaned as he began to start typing again, hoping to straighten out the problem.

Kelly groaned with equal frustration at this. "If anybody was to ask my opinion on what the problem is with this city these days, I'd say that it's the fault of that damned stupid, so-called Master Control Program! Ha! 'Master Control'…I don't think that junk can even process international stocks worth crap in order to save its own life! That piece of junk is just as bad as that rat called Dillinger, who shouldn't have existed in ENCOM in the first place!"

Kevin, worried that his younger cousin might slide into an uncontrollable rage, stopped what he was doing and made a move to cool her the only way he knows how: by detaining her head and her hands so that he could confront her directly without resistance.

"Kelly, Kelly, take a breath and calm down," he instructed firmly.

She complied, and breathed deep until she felt relaxed. "Don't worry, Kev…I'm okay…I'm fine. Sorry…"

Then, they couldn't help but grin stupidly at each other, feeling like absolute idiots around each other even when under pressure of personal problems.

"Crisis averted," both said at the same time.

"Alright, Kevin, let me go so we can get back to business," Kelly ordered playfully, "We'd better try and formulate a new plan to get back what was taken."

"Right, right, right…Let's do this before we crash," Kevin agreed as he began typing on his computer.

Meanwhile, in the computer world, Clu was brought to a central area where he was at the mercy of a colossal program with nothing more than a face. That thing was none other than the Master Control Program – or the MCP, for short – everyone has heard about; it's no wonder not many programs and Users alike have serious issues with this thing: it was tyrannical with a severe case of superiority complex.

"We've got a pirate program here, says his name is Clu," the guard said in a monotone voice.

"What did he pull?" the MCP asked.

"He came into the system with a stolen password," the guard explained, "We caught him trying to raid our high-clearance memory."

"No! I must've gotten lost somewhere," Clu protested, "I was—"

"Who programmed you?" the MCP interrogated.

"I was simply—" Clu tried to come up with something to say.

Unfortunately, he was cut off when he was sent flying against the wall, and his programming was being tortured by the surge of the vile program in control, causing Clu to scream in horrific agony.

"You're in trouble, program. Make it easy on yourself. Who's your User?" the MCP demanded to know.

"Forget it, Mr. High and Mighty Master Control!" Clu shouted as he continued feeling the pain of deletion creeping through him. "You aren't making me talk!"

"Suit yourself."

In that moment, Clu's torture went on as the helpless program made a death cry as he steadily succumbed to the most painful deletion within the digital world. As this was happening, the control freak turned its attention to another matter, convinced that the hacker was crossing a certain line and it must be dealt with immediately.

"Get me Dillinger," the proud program ordered.
