Well, this is my first fan fiction poem; it is about Jak, and the citizens of Haven City, and how they treat him after Jak 3.
Enjoy.
Oh, and I don't own Jak and Daxter, not even if I tried
A Touch Too Dark
It was horrible, so horrible
Their Eyes, prying into his soul
The grand "Saviour" of the city
They all should be grateful
For ending the war that had no end
Yet they were all spiteful
Knowing his dark secret within
As he walks into the bar, everything is quiet.
Glasses are dropped, laughter is stopped
All eyes look and stare
The hero feels embarrassed
Feeling as if he is bare
Secrets revealed, scars not healed
All for the crowd to see
He walks through the slums, the port and the market
And everyone acts the same way
Children stop playing, adults stop trading
Then they all slip away
Children run indoors, crying for their mothers
Adults call their friends, searching for their brothers
Hoping that they have not met their end
Screams continuously fills his head
The metal chair becomes his bed
As all his cheery dreams disappear
The torture replays over and over again
The needles stab his darkened skin
Cries erupt from the pain
Struggling to keep him restrained
Death reeked from his body
Darkness was all in his eyes
The eco flashes like lightning
His skin and hair pale to a distinct grey
Black claws grows from his nails
Blocking the light of day
The devil laughs and keeps jeering
Killing with no feeling
Enjoying the screams of the prey
Children were crying, mothers were dying
All by the swipe of his hand
His lover stares at the wall
Asking why did he change
His cheer is gone, along with his smile
Despair and anger are found instead
Despite the growing light
The angel found inside
The people found only the worst of things
Blind to the hero that gave them life
So Ungrateful, So Spiteful
Those two they were to the heir
For now, nobody wanted him
Nobody cared for him
People leave and abandon him
To all, he was just a touch too dark
Yeah, that's about it, and this is the first time I've done it. Please Review.
