A/N: I just wrote this for my sister. Enjoy!

After a long day of work, Shaun leaned back in his chair and groaned, rubbing his strained eyes. Everyone had been working hard lately. They were all so tired and out of sorts, the atmosphere felt rather stiff. For some reason everybody was a little down.

Shaun blinked. Staring at a computer screen for long periods of time could be extremely stressful. He had hoped taking off his glasses for an afternoon would help relax his eyes, but apparently not. He sighed reaching for his spectacles, only to be shocked when he found they weren't on his desk. He was certain he placed them right there earlier. Which could only mean…

He jumped up and faced his colleagues, which only looked like foggy blobs without his eye wear.

Frustrated, he said, "Alright. Who was the joker who thought it would be a laugh to take my glasses? And who ever it was had better hand them over right now, because it's not funny. Not in the slightest."

The blobs looked at him for a minute. Then they all began to snicker, except the Lucy blob, who just turned back to her work with a shake of her head.

Shaun breathed out through his nose in an attempt to keep his cool. "Fine. So you think it IS funny. A big laugh. Ha, ha, ha." He said, not amused. "Now give them back."

On the other side of the room, Rebecca giggled.

Shaun turned on her. "Rebecca. Seriously?"

Rebecca was still laughing when she replied, "Shaun, I didn't take them. I swear."

He faced the blob that was Desmond. "Desmond, I'm sure you think you're really hilarious, but I am not in the mood!"

"Look," Desmond said, trying to keep a straight face. "I didn't touch your glasses."

"Oh, so you're telling me they just walked away on their own, then?"

Lucy finally cut in. "Shaun, They're hanging from the neck of your shirt."

He stopped, and looked down. Yep. There they were. Tucked into his collar.

"Aw, Lucy. That could have gone on forever!" Desmond said, while he continued to laugh. Rebecca joined in.

Shaun scowled, placing on his glasses. "How very mature of you two. You know we have real work to do? I bet you forgot while you were wasting my time fooling around."

They continued to laugh at him.

"Thank you, Shaun," Rebecca said, when she finally calmed down."I needed a laugh."

Now that he could see properly, he realised that everyone was a little happier looking. Even Lucy had cracked a smile.

He scoffed. "Well, I'm SO pleased I amuse you, Rebecca," He said with thick sarcasm. Then he turned and stalked back to his computer, making sure to keep his glasses in his glasses case form now on.

A/N: Thanks for reading! As someone who wears glasses, I know this kind of thing happens all the time…
