My Maplestory Life

Chapter 1

The Dragon Whisperer

On the small island of Victoria there was a boy named Jaydog6104. He has dark tan skin, big brown eyes, and black shaggy hair. He wouldn't often talk to anyone, so no one would talk to him.

One night Jaydog had a dream that he was in a forest, walking down a path and found a huge dragon asleep. The Dragon opened his eyes and stared at him

That morning his mom woke him up and told him, "Your father needs you in the front yard." Jaydog went outside to meet his father.

His father asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Jaydog didn't say anything. It was silent.

"Anyway", his dad broke the silence, "Go to the forest and collect some hay for the chickens and horses." Jaydog just nodded and left.

As he entered the forest he heard a faint scratching noise. An egg rolled out from behind a bush. Jaydog, as pale as he could be, stepped back and stared at the egg. Then cracks started dancing around the shell. A lizard type creature popped out of the egg. It was a faint blue color with tiny golden horns. Jaydog looked closely.

"You're a dragon," he said in a shaky voice.

"Who are you talking to," said the creature.

"Y-y-you,'' He stuttered.

The creature said, "Are your sure you know what you're talking about?"

"Yes,'' Jaydog said without a doubt. "I should show you to my father,''

He said. Jaydog and the small dragon who followed, left the forest and went home.

"Dad," Jaydog yelled, " Look who I found!"

His dad came out of the house and saw the small dragon between his son's legs.

"How did you get a dragon," He asked.

Jaydog completely ignored the question. "Can I keep him," Jaydog asked.

"I guess," his dad responded. "Speaking of dragons, I read a book about a person who wielded magic used dragons for their pets." He paused, "You must be a person who wields that magic, you must help people in need and fight with others, also these people were called evans."

Jaydog nodded in agreement. "I guess I'll name you, Mir," he said.

" I like it," Mir said cheerfully.
