I thought of this when I saw some of the screenshots from birthmark, I didn't watch it so if I made any mistakes please forgive me.

I walked on the path marked out by rocks, beside me hot red lava flowed down. But strangely I didn't feel hot at all. Where am I? I can't be in that volcano can I? The last thing I remembered was that the wretched girl, Terra, turned against me. She returned to those so-called friends of hers. She triggered the volcano and sacrificed herself to save that useless city, and we were so close to taking over the city. That foolish girl, now she is just stone.

I continued walking on until I came to two large metal doors; strange symbols were carved onto them. I was wondering how I was going to open them when they swung open to reveal a large hall. The floor was made of marble and there was a red carpet laid in front of me. The sight was more welcoming than what was behind me. I was about to step in when a thought occurred me. What if this was a trick?

Come in, a voice rang inside my head, loud and forceful. Unwillingly I walked in, my boots padded quietly. I looked warily around me expecting someone or something to attack me. But nothing stirred. I walked on till I came to another huge door, it swung open to reveal a giant, no a monster.

He sat on the throne like a king; his body was the color of red, like blood. A chill ran down my spine as his four red eyes looked down at me. I tried not to show it but I was terrified as I had never been in my life.

"Well, Slade I have been waiting for you." He said, his loud, deep voice which echoed in the room. I tried not to flinch and asked, "Who are you? And what do you want with me?"

He sneered to reveal very sharp teeth and replied, "I am Trigon and what I want from you is simple. I want you to…" He paused, choosing his words carefully. "To be my messenger."

"What? And why should I?" I asked shocked.

"You can either choose to do that or you can go straight to hell."

"What? You mean I'm dead?" I gasped, feeling myself going pale.

"No, not yet, you are now in a place between life and death. So what is your decision?" He asked, obviously enjoying seeing me afraid.

"And what must I do?"

"I want you to deliver a message to my daughter, Raven."

"That girl? Alright I'll do it." A deal with a demon, not the best deal I've ever made. But Imight still be able toget my revenge on the titans.

"Very good, as my… messenger I will grant you new powers." Trigon said and muttered some kind of spell. For a moment I felt my forehead burn with , but the pain was gone as sudden as it came.

A bright circle of red light appeared beside me.

"Step through and you will return to Earth, I will give you further instructions there."

"Thank you very much… master" The word tasted sour in my mouth but without turning back, I stepped through the portal.
