Beautifuler? Really? Anna scurried off of the stage as quickly as was appropriate in this situation. "Way to go tongue, you had one job. To help me welcome Elsa back into the land of the outside and show her what a refined and mature young woman I've become."
"Beautifuler," the redhead whispered letting her shoulders slump and whisk a glass of champagne from a passing waitress. She couldn't deny that it was true. Elsa had grown into a tall unwavering woman with a gorgeous hair and even "beautifuler" eyes. Her expression had been trained stone but those ice blue irises told of a much warmer person that just didn't quite know how to express herself between queenly duties and social ineptitude.
The pretty redhead (that really aught to give herself more credit) was broken out of her thoughts by bumping into a very tall, brunette man with broad shoulders. Anna thought he could do without the gorilla sideburns though. The man cleared his throat, "Hello, Prince Hans of the Southern Isles," he bowed.
Anna nodded her head politely and hoped this relatively charming prince could take up her time. "Princess Anna of Arendelle," she introduced while a devious plan formed in her head.
ElsaXAnna
Elsa was clinging to the walls like they were a lifeline. Hoping to avoid the rather strange characters invading her home and even more so to avoid any potential suitors that might try to chat her up. The beautiful woman's full pink lips pressed into a tight line to stave off the frown lurking behind them. She only wanted alone time to speak more with the stunning star that is her sister. It seemed like the girl didn't even know the effect she had! Her shining smile, her adorable dimples, her copper red hair that didn't even need to try to gather the light and proudly displayed its wares in the form of a halo.
Elsa's countenance dropped just a bit. The only thing suitors would be interested in, in her would be the opportunity to be king. Who would want a stone faced brooding queen for a wife? As it happens to be, Elsa was about to get her answer.
"I want you to give us your blessing, Elsa." Sounded off to her right. The Queen furrowed her brow in confusion and questioned if she had been hearing things. But as she turned to the direction of the sound her eyes are greeted with the picture of her shining star hanging onto the arm of a tall, broad shouldered man. "He could do without those gorilla sideburns," she thought unaware of the similar thoughts Anna had upon her first impression.
"How long have you known eachother, Anna? I know we haven't had time to catch up yet but a fiancé?"
"Oh we met here tonight," the redhead said easily. As if what she just said wasn't completely insane.
"Absolutely not. You can't marry a man you just met." Elsa's expression was that of one who wanted to facepalm at the moment.
"Let me marry him!" Anna pleaded, up until a devious smirk crossed her lips. "Otherwise, I'll marry you."
"You really think a weak bluff like that will fell a trained Queen?" Elsa got right into her sister's face, "Then marry me." The blonde challenged lowly, calling the redheads bluff. She was fully prepared to make good on her threat. Ever since her beautiful shinning star had stepped into the ballroom her heart had given a powerful beat and frost had formed inside of her gloves from sweaty hands.
Undeterred by her queen's challenge Anna leaned upwards and planted a confident kiss onto her lips. Hans' eyes bugged out and the room's occupants had mixed reactions. Some mouths gaped, some were uninterested, the majority clapped, though the more forward thinking group wondered how the Frost royal family would continue with no heir.
Well if things went in Elsa's direction, as they had been, Arendelle would have a new heir in the next nine months.
The rest as they say, is history.
Until next time everyone :3
