Hy! I'm coming back again writig about these two... It's a bit sad but that was the inspiration LoL... Hope you like it!

Faster

Alessandro Gabella, the Artist, finally caught them. Would you have ever believed this? As soon as you've been informed by Garcia, you couldn't believed it in fact. But she did. She has always been faster than you. She got immediately worried and ran with Hotch looking for the two colleagues. Reid and Seaver… How could two agents like them have fallen into the trap of that serial killer?

But there wasn't time for asking. Just for an answer. To the call of running, leaving Garcia on the other end of the line and Rossi at the other side of the room, and running to them, to her, because you already knew she was already there, because she was always faster than you.

And you run, you run on two feets, by four wheels, with your revolver in the hand. And finally you're there, just in time. Just in time to hear a shot , and to enter the room where that sound came from. It's ironic the suddenly qualitative leap of the Artist: he jumped from women with low conditions straight to the best one you've ever met. Because Hotch and Emily are there. Because the shot hit him and you could not allow that another hit her.

And now you want to be faster than her, you have to be. So you run even faster and you move her aside, taking the bullet straight into the chest. Instead of her. And you hear only screams around you, and you don't know if for you, for Hotch or for themselves fearing that fool will shoot again. And you are going to die, but you don't care for life, not for yours, because the only one person you really care about is alive.

"Don't leave me please!"

It's Emily's voice at your side and with a slow, fast movement of the hand, you take hers. That's how you want to spend the last moments of your life: with her hand in yours, her voice in your ears, and her eyes in yours. And maybe it's the death delirium or the life oblivion, but you want to scream. But you haven't the breath to do it.

You have just time to catch a last breath and you decide to refuse it. Because it's senseless to stay alive for just one more moment, breathing for a colorless breath.

"I love you, Emily"
