Chapter One
"Lulu, where are we?" one of the girl's companions asked, holding his staff tightly.
"Hopefully we're back in our world. It looks like we've arrived in Los Angeles." The other boy gazed out at the ocean, "It's just as I remember it."
"Reese, we're trapped." Lulu breathed slowly, "We need to get off the beach before the Sea God senses the disturbance."
"Yeah, right into the Death God's domain, I feel so safe." Reese sniffed the air.
"Do you smell it too?" the first boy Blane asked.
"Yep, we've been caught." Reese looked to see Poseidon himself standing on the water's edge.
"Is it HIM?" Blane bared fangs.
"No, we are by the sea and the Underworld that one would not be here." Lulu touched Blane's shoulder, signaling him to stand down.
"How is it three half-bloods such as yourselves can cause such a disturbance that it worries even my greatest of servants?" The Sea God walked toward them.
"Our apologies my lord, we did not realize the devastation our combined powers would have." Lulu bowed, signaling the boys to follow her lead.
"Who are you? Certainly young godlings but I can't sense your parentage." He looked to Reese for answers.
"I am not the leader. I serve my dark lady." Reese responded backing away behind his leader.
"So young and already given a title of your own, who are you?"
"I am Lucinda the Dark Lady, as for my parentage I guarantee you it's no secret." Lulu touched the sword at her hip, the skull on the sheath glistened, "I am called the Dark Lady for many reasons, one because of my craft and the other because of my father." A gold circlet was sitting around her throat.
"Hades has broken the oath now too."
"There really is no oath to break when you and The Sky Lord have broken it, he twice has broken it." She reached back for Blane's hand hearing his growls, "Calm my knight, do not lose your cool just yet."
"He is a son of Zeus, come I'll see to it all this is sorted out." The Sea God watched Percy walk down the shore.
"Father, is there something wrong. Mom said you needed me for something." He raced over, "Who are they?"
"Take them to camp and tell Chiron to tread carefully." Poseidon spoke calmly, "They are to be brought to Olympus at the coming Solstice. See to it they are taken care of personally." Poseidon ordered.
"As you wish, but what am I to tell mom about… the thing." Percy looked over his shoulder to make sure she wasn't close.
"Don't worry about it for now Perseus, take care of this task first."
"Alright but she's going to be mad. I'm not taking the hit for this one, if another cataclysmic event turns up and ruins this she's not going to be happy. And believe me I've never heard the three first goddesses but I think my mother could top them in anger. It's that scary."
"I will take care of this quietly then, now do as I said and go. Before your uncles get wind of this."
"Yeah that would be bad. Come on guys, let's get out of here." Percy walked off, he turned to his father and yelled, "Good luck, you're going to need it."
"Perseus!"
"I was being serious!" the Halfling yelp as the wave came down on his head, "She's crazy, and I'm not taking the hit this time." He stood up sputtering, "Let's go, Thalia and the others are waiting on the jet."
