This is probably the last little ficlet from me; I've got one or two others written, but I don't think they're post-worthy - sorry, goldeneyes713 and Sakura Scout! There might be one other story coming up, though...
No. i is awake when Xemnas makes his final preparations, testing the IVs of sorts that will insert new data into the Replica. For now he sees what the others see—exactly as what it wants to be seen—a petite girl with black hair and blue eyes.
That image will be erased, one way or another, when this program runs its course.
No. i is better at faking its emotions that most remaining members of the Organization; its blue eyes harden and glare at him from the laboratory table upon which it lies, filled with rage that it has never truly felt.
"Go ahead," it rasps, "reprogram me." Already its appearance is changing. Eyes and hair grow lighter, skin darkens, curves straighten. "I'll never stop fighting you."
"I am aware of this." He rests a hand on Sora's forehead, feeling him flinch beneath. "You will serve your purpose after all."
Without another word, Xemnas returns to the terminal, Xion's horror—real or imagined—in his wake.
