This is my own story.

All DGM characters are not mine.

Only Akira is mine.

At an unknown grave...

The Earl walked up to a tombstone on which a girl was sitting upon. She had short hair and was wearing a shirt a few sizes too big. Both were black. He could only see her back at the moment. Is this the grieving person? It doesn't feel like it. But, still, I should ask.

"Do you want me to bring this person back to life?" He asks as he usually does to every grieving person he met. But of course, it would always turn out the same: Someone would grieve over a person's lost, He would ask them if they want him to bring them back to life, they would say yes, they would yell out the person's name, the soul would be trapped into a skeleton of dark matter, and then he would command the skeleton to kill the person who called forth their soul and wear their skin as their own. But this time, he was wrong... The girl started laughing!

"Huh?"

"No, I'm sorry, but the person you're looking for is no longer here." she chuckled.

"What do you mean? Aren't you the grieving child?"

"No. I'm not. And I mean she's dead. I killed her." She said as she stood up and grabbed something from the ground beside her. "If you don't believe me, her corpse is right here." She started laughing even harder.

"Why did you kill her?" He asked as he stared at the corpse. It was in the shape of a little girl around the age of 5 or 6. Then he looked back at her.

Her skin was ghostly pale and her eyes were blood red. Then he noticed blood stains all over her.

"She was crying too much, kept wanting her little mommy back and it got on my nerves, so, I killed her. Nothing wrong with that, now is there?" She said with a shrug and dropped the corpse.

"Well," He thought. "I guess not. If. No one finds out."

"Good, good." She smiled. "Now, what's your name?"

"The Millennium Earl." He replied. "And yours?"

"Akira Ikizawa." She replies back. "You know, you look rich... Do you have some money you could loan to me?" She asked and stuck out her hand.

"You could call me rich, but, I'm very busy so... No." He explained to her, and then turned to leave, but Akira said something very 'interesting'.

"So... You already going off to make some akuma, I'm assuming?"

Earl froze. He turned back towards her and asked, "How do you know about that?"

"I'm not telling until you give me some cash!" She chuckled and put out her hand once more.

"Sorry, but I don't have any money on me, so I must get going." He told her and tried to turn back but couldn't.

While he struggled to move Akira explained the problem. "Sorry, but you can't go nowhere because I have your shadow."

"Hmm... Interesting..." he mumbled to himself. "Could this be Innocence, perhaps?"

"If you let me free," Earl explains. "Then I'll make you a deal."

"Hmm..." Akira wonders. "A deal? What kind of a deal?"

"You tell me how you're doing this, how you know about me making akuma, and other stuff about you, then I'll give you a home."

"A home? Whose home?" she asks, curiously, with sudden interest. Hope filled her eyes as he thought about the answer.

"My home." He finally decided. "You can be part of my family, from now on."

Akira thought for a moment, deciding whether or not to go with him. She finally decided yes. "You got a deal, Earl." she said and let go of his shadow.

"Now, come. Let's go." He stuck out his hand and she hesitantly took it. And then went through a checkered door that appeared out of now where.

Darkstar: Well, that's all I got. I know the details aren't very good.

Kit-Kat: Don't worry! I fixed that.

Darkstar: Thank you, editor!

Kit-Kat: Please review!

Darkstar: NOW! And I'll give you free cookie.

Kit-Kat: Don't listen! She's lying.

Darkstar: Shut up!

Kit-Kat: But still review!
