AN-I got the idea for this story after re-watching all of Three Delivery, as after all, we found out who Tobey's father is... but we learnt hardly anything about his mother. I have a theory as to who she is and this story will explore that theory, so if you get to the end and find the idea ridiculous just tell me! But just remember this, if we ever get a second season (which we might as Larry Schwarz got it back recently) and I turn out to be wrong, I will admit it and we'll all laugh about this together! I do hope that you will enjoy this story! Please review this story and tell me your honest opinions so I can improve! Thanks!

Chapter One - I Need To Know
Friday, August 14th, 2009, 9:30 p.m.
"Are you really sure that you want to find out the truth about your mother, Tobes?" seventeen-year-old Susan 'Sue' Yee asked, sitting on her bed and watching her boyfriend of six months, fellow seventeen-year-old Tobey Li, pace back and forth in front of her. He just nodded in answer and continued walking back and forth, frowning all the while. She sighed and said, "But Nana might tell you eventually-"
"Sue, it's been a year since I found out who my father is and Nana still won't tell me anything about my mother! Well, apart from the fact that Kong Li banished her. That's just not enough! I have to know who she is... or was, Sue!"
Sue sighed and looked sadly at her boyfriend, "Oh, Tobes, I do understand where you're coming from... but I don't want you to find out anything horrible! What if she was a terrible person too? I wouldn't want you to feel disillusioned about who you are and what you'll be like in the future!"
Tobey looked over at his girlfriend and smiled at her concern. It was one of the things he loved most about her, along with her intelligence, kindness and her occasional flashes of nerdiness. Oh, he was so lucky to have a girl like her! He went and sat down beside her, holding her hand gently.
"Oh Sue, I do understand where you're coming from, but I must know! If it does turn out that she was a horrible person, then I can just accept it and try to be better than them both... and if she was nice, then I know that I had a family member that did love me! I have to know, Sue... so will you help me, please?" he pleaded with her, his eyes wide.
She clutched his hand tightly and just said, "Of course, I will! I just worry about you, you know, and my worries only got worse after we discovered who your father is! God, it's like something out of Star Wars, isn't it?"
Tobey laughed and mimicked Darth Vader's infamous line, "No, I am your father."
Sue started giggling and fell back on her bed. Oh, she loved this boy so much... infinitely more than she'd ever loved Barney! He was so funny and kind and he made her feel comfortable to be her true self, which Barney had never done in all the time she'd crushed on him. She was still so happy that she'd finally realized how she truly felt after what had happened at last year's Spirit Festival... and after six months of worrying about whether or not he liked her back, it turned out that he had always loved her! They started dating immediately, and though it had been a big surprise to everyone, least of all Sid, everyone admitted that they made a great couple. They complimented each other perfectly, as he was goofy and not too serious whilst she was intelligent and very serious. They were just good for each other. Tobey laughed too and lay down beside her, feeling himself the luckiest guy in the world-
"So, what will you do first, Tobes?" Sue interrupted his thoughts with her simple enquiries. He smiled and sat up.
"Well, first, I've decided that I'll have to go back to the foster centre where I was left... the same one I met you in!" he exclaimed, thinking it all through and frowning in annoyance. He knew that would be the best idea for what to do first, but what to do after that?
"That's a good idea, Tobey! They can show you your file... and they might have your original birth certificate as well, which would, I presume, have your mother's name on it. Then, after you've found out her name, you can look her up in the public records or ask around and see if anyone knew her! Everyone knows everyone in Chinatown and we might be able to find someone who did, right?" Sue said, sitting up next to him and Tobey just looked at her and grinned happily.
"I love that brain of yours, Sue! What great ideas... and you're right! Everyone does know everyone around here and it wouldn't be too much of a shot to suspect that someone knew her or her family... or even just what she was like! Oh, Sue, I could kiss you-"
"Then go ahead and do it! And after we're done doing that, we can get some sleep and then sneak out early tomorrow so we can go to the foster centre and ask without anyone, let alone Nana, finding out! Though I must say, I really hate going behind her back," Sue said, sadly and Tobey sighed again miserably.
"I do too, Sue. But it must be done... now, let's make out for a bit before bed... or until Nana or Sid bangs on the door, anyway!" he joked, trying to lighten the mood and the two of them commenced in a passionate makeout session that lasted all of five minutes before Sid, the overprotective big brother that he was, knocked on the door and ordered Tobey to get out or...
"I'll destroy your bike!" he teased and Tobey reluctantly stopped kissing Sue. He gave her one last kiss before saying goodnight and walking out of her room. He went to have a quick shower before getting into his pyjamas and into bed, lying there awake listening to Barney's snores and wondering what would be revealed to him tomorrow...
AN-Hope you enjoyed this first chapter! I just wanted to say that Larry Schwarz told me on Twitter that Sue's full name is Susan and that the trio were around sixteen-years-old in the show. However, he didn't explain why Sid has a different birthday than his sister, so I've made him a year older instead! Please review and the next chapter will be up soon! Bye!
