This Linumi drabble was written for a close friend of mine. Its short but I hope you enjoy! :)
Like any other morning the couple did not want to get out of bed. Lin's alarm went off at 5:30 in the morning, like it did every morning, but this time she slammed her hand upon the snooze button. She buried her head deeper into her fiance's chest.
Obviously waking up from the alarm going off, Bumi noticed that Lin didn't gt up like she normally does. But a sweet smile came upon his face when he felt her snuggle deeper into his chest.
"Lin, sweetie? Don't you have work today?"
Bumi would love to stay in bed all day with the love of his life but the simple fact was that Lin had work today and only in a hour. She grumbled and hid even deeper into his chest. A small pouty came upon her lips, "No."
Bumi always found her adorable but right then and there she wa honestly the most adorable she had ever been. And in all honesty, he loved it so much. Kissing her on the top of the head with a smile he decided to let her get some sleep.
Ten minutes into Lin's extra sleep her alarm went off again due to her pressing snooze. Growing annoyed she unplugged the alarm and went back into cuddling with Bumi.
Bumi had been up since the alarm first went off while Lin went back to sleep. He didn't mind one bit. If Lin was happy then he was. And it reached noon when Lin finally woke up but she still didn't want to get out of bed. Adjusting herself so she could look at her fiancee she smiled. "Morning." Her voice still let him know she was tired and it was very adorable.
"Morning sleepyhead."
A blush spread across her cheeks. As her head fell back against the pillow she asked, "Do I have to get up?"
Bumi laughed at her. Wrapping her in his arms once again and pecking her on the lips he shook his head. "No. You deserve a lazy day. How about that? Just us. No work, no airbending. You and me in bed all day. Just spending time with each other. How does that sound?"
Her voice was quiet but had a hint of sweetness as she said, "I'd love that, I really would."
