Chapter 1
It was a beautiful day when the letter arrived. It was a weird looking envelope. It had no return address. Opening it up, Martha found a interesting letter in it. It was a letter from some strange place. It read.
Dear Martha Smith
You are a witch.
Rising her eyebrows at those words, Martha continue reading. She was the sort of person to be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath. It was something she learned from bible studies.
You are a witch. And as a witch you have been selected to attend school. Congratulations. You…
Not caring to read the rest, Martha crumb up the paper and tossed it into her house fire place. Put on the fire and whispered.
"Burn."
Instantly the wood caught on fire and the fire place became ablazed. Watching the letter burn, Martha smled. She was no witch. She knew not who was trying to place a prank on her but she was no witch. All witches when to the lake of fire. She was a gods. Not a witch. Her bible said so.
Watching the letter burn to ash, Martha hymned to herself a psalm. "Blessed be the seven horned and the seven eyed lamb." It was a song she had learned in church the past sunday.
Once the letter was burned, the eleven year ago walked into the kitchen area, made herself some peanut butter and jelly, She made two for herself and two for her little brother who was soon to arrival. It was something she did every day as a form of love for her little brother. It was written in her bible that if she could not love the brother she could see how could she love God in heaven? She did this as a way of loving her brother.
Once she was done eating, Martha headed upstair to her room to do her roommate. Her mother had told her to finish her homework before dinner time. So Martha did. After, all she was to obey her parents in all things. And since doing her homework was not a big deal and did not account as a sin, she did her homework and gladly. She did it for Jesus.
Somewhere in great britain area, another child also received a letter. His name was Ethan Earthsinger. He was a native american kid who parents had moved to great britain for a job reason. He was also eleven year old.
Opening his letter and reading it, he was at first confused. The letter read.
Dear Ethan Earthsinger,
You are a wizard.
Pausing in his reading Ethan blinked. He was a what? A wizard like those games characters he played with his friends. Was this a joke? Was this a prank or something?
Blinking again, Ethan continued reading. He was confused but curious.
You are a wizard. Congratulations. As a young unknown wizard you have been selected to attend hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. The you will learn everything to do with being a wizard. Congrats again. At about ten old clock on saturday morning an associates of the school will be over to have a discussion with your parents about your attendan. Don't worry the school is free. See you saturday.
Ethan blinked again, then slowly closed up the letter and placed it on the dining room table with the other letters. He then headed into the kitchen, heated up his rich and soup, pulled out his cell phone and began to eat. After he was done he when into the living room to play some video games the letter, long forgotten.
Somewhere in Japan, a young japanese girl opened up a letter that a nice little bird her given her. It was as the two others letters were. Had only her name and no returned address. It was strange. The letter read.
Dear Yuri Kato,
You are a witch.
Pausing in her reading Yuri, scowled. That was not polite. She was no witch. It was very rude what someone had wrote to her. She knew that the other girls at her all girls school was not nice to her because of who her father was. He was a politicians of the minority party but that was no excuse to write her such a thing. She was not ugly or evil. She was just a normal girl.
Crumbing up the letter, Yuri tossed it away and headed inside. She had no clue how the other girls, escapically that Mai Sakoto, got the bird to bring her the letter but she was not pleaded. She was going to tell her father on them. And he was going to have a talking to with their fathers. No one called her a witch and get away with it.
