Chapter 1: Pandora

I'm New Kid. No, I'm serious. That's what everyone at my new high school calls me. My real name is Pandora Jackson. The last name is a bit familiar to you? Well, I am the little sister of the famous Percy Jackson, so that solves that. He didn't mention one? That's okay.

So at my first day, Percy greeted me with his arms outstretched. "Well, if it isn't Pandy Jackson! How is everything back at camp?" he asked as he gave me a hug.

"First of all, Percy, it's Pandora. Pandy makes me sound weird and immature. And second of all, everything at camp is fine and we can't wait for winter break so you can come. Connor and Travis told me to tell you that they said hey and that they miss you a lot." I replied, trying to sound annoyed but I ended up laughing out loud. "Pandy, I mean, Pandora, I want you to meet someone." He said giggling- yes, actually giggling, like a little schoolgirl, as he grabbed behind him for something out of my sight. I stared blankly as an obviously feminine hand with silver nail polish and an owl ring met my brother's hand.

"Pandora, this is Annabeth, my girlfriend. Annabeth, this is Pandora, my little sister and my best friend." Percy said as he brought a blonde girl with tan skin and stormy gray eyes wearing a crumpled cheer leading into view. "You're the Pandora Jackson? Your brother told me ALL about you. The way he talked about you, I was expecting a little girl, but look at you! You're such a big girl! How old are you?" Annabeth gushed. I rolled my eyes. I wasn't for a second, going to buy herlittle act. I was still, Percy's best friend and no beach bunny was going to tell me otherwise. "I'm fourteen. I'm a freshman." I replied coldly. "Hey, maybe I can tutor you in the classes you need help in. I am a daughter of Athena, you know." I grinned at the fact she tried to make friends with me.

"Sure. Why not?"
