Just so you know my Freddy as a kid is normal for now. This is my first main long Nightmare fan fiction so I'm gonna try my best.

Ch1-Missing You

"Son of a hundred maniacs! Son of a hundred maniacs!" 10 year old Fred Krueger stared at his teasers with sad eyes. The biggest tears of all were Donald Thompson, Walter Lantz, and Henry Parker. All he wanted was to be their friend, but since day one that's all he heard was that chant. They didn't even get to know him. He clenched his fists as they kept chanting. He would get back at them one day. He vowed it would happen. For now he just stood there and took it as the three of them surrounded him, chanting that horrible chant. It was after school so there wasn't a teacher around to help. Its not like they were much better anyway.

10 year old Julia Mason stood and watched in anger. How DARE they make fun of her best friend like that? She was actually Fred's only friend. She lived next door to him and his mother Amanda. Yes she knew that his mom used to be a nun and how he was born, but none of that mattered to her. She knew the REAL Fred. Being who his fathers were has nothing to do with the way he was brought up. Damn those three. She stomped over to them and got in their faces.

"You three should be ashamed of yourselves! Why cant you just leave him alone?! You don't even know him! He's done nothing to you! Now just get out of here!" Donald smirked and the three walked away. She looked towards Fred.

"Are you ok? God it makes me so mad when they tease you like that." Fred was quiet but he nodded. They began to walk home together and Fred spoke for the first time.

"I'm really glad I have you as a friend. Those guys are such jerks I don't know why I just stand there and take it."

"You are my best friend Freddy. Always. " He actually gave a little smile. He hated to be called Freddy, but she was the only one that could call him that.

They got to his house and he turned to her. "You wanna come in for a snack? I'm sure my mom has some cookies waiting." She smiled.

"I would like that." He opened the door and they went inside where sure enough there was a plate of cookies on the table and two glasses of milk. Fred smiled. Its like his mom knew Julia would be with him and why not? They hung out together every day after school ever since they stared. Amanda was sitting at the kitchen table and smiled.

"Hello you two. Fred, how was school today? The teasing?" Fred looked down and Amanda sighed. Julia spoke up.

"I helped him Ms. Krueger don't worry. It really made me mad especially that Donald Thompson. They have no right to pick on Fred like that. No right at all."

"Its ok mother. Really. Now can we take a couple of cookies and go outside?" Amanda nodded. "Not too long you have homework to do."

They grabbed a couple of cookies each, their milk and went outside and sat on the steps. Julia smiled as she saw her father mowing the lawn. She turned to Fred.

Fred, I know I'm you're only friend in the world and you are my only friend." It was true. Because she was best friends with that "son of a hundred maniacs", she just as an outcast as he was but she didn't care. Even her parents supported her decision in being friends with him. They knew him and liked him just as much. Fred looked at her.

"We have to stick together Julia. Just you and I. Promise me we will always stick together and be best friends and be there for each other no matter what ok?" She put an arm around him.

"I promise you Freddy Kruger. No matter what happens.

Well that's just a start what do you all think?
