I do not own any of the characters below if I did I definitely would not be posting this story for free ;)
A/N: I've been having a lot of free time so decided to take another crack at a one-shot. One day I might try a chaptered story but between school, work, and being a mom it's not going to happen anytime soon. This is kinda all over. I guess it reflects my train of thought. I'm kinda sporadic, please review even if you like/dislike and check out my other one-shots.

I sat on the couch waiting for him to address me. I waited. I continued to wait.

I sat on the couch, our first purchase in our new adventure.

I heard the whispered murmurs from two voices beyond the door.

I hear the sound of a kiss from beyond the door before the familiar sound of apparating sounds.

I wait. He knows I'm sitting here, just as I know she'll be back.

The door to our bedroom opens and out steps my husband.

He gives me that familiar smirk of his.

He never apologizes because this is what I deserve in his eyes.

I never question him because I know I deserve worse.

I stand up and walk past my husband with a smile and a glint in my own eyes.

I just needed to get this paperwork out of our bedroom.

He knew I was returning.

He stares at me as I walk past him grabbing my documents.

I walk past him again but this time he grabs my arm, staring at me with a hard expression.

We stand like this for hours it feels, it's really seconds.

I know he can smell the scent on me.

It's one he's so familiar with.

One who grew up with.

They shared a room all their lives.

They shared words.

He quirks an eyebrow at me.

"Tell my brother we'll be over for dinner tonight"

I smile and nod.

George lets my arm go with a smile and a kiss on my cheek.

He smells like her, his mistress. I inhale the scent.

I should know her smell, I smelled it on his brother.

I kiss his cheek back with a smile of my own.

"I wouldn't miss it"
