It was a still black night just as dark as cold. The full bright moon peered down on the small,. quiet suberb of DC. The soft whistling breeze was enough to send a cold chill down her spine, and make bare hairs on her neck stand up.

She was clad in her favourite white sweater with parallel brown and orange stripes running across her back and around her arms. Her silky hair was tied in a small knot at the base of her head. A few whisps of loose brown hair streaked her face.

Ziva stood on the rooftop of her appartment complex. In her hand was a small glass of her finest red wine. She inhaled a long sip and felt her mouth go dry. It was almost sickly sweet. She sighed and then took a cold breath. She set her wine down on the ledge and picked up her bottle of scotch. Wanting the wine to be the last thing she tasted, she dumped the last sip into her mouth, and swallowed it before it hit her toung, letting it roughly clunk down her throat, almost painfully. She took in a gulp of air to force it down. Picking up her wine glass again, she took a sip, and let the sweet flavour dance over her toung.

Tony slowly opened the rooftop door, careful not to let it squeek. He took a soft step onto the dust streeked cement, and tapped the door lightly, attempting to make it stay ajar.

Step by step, he floated closer to her against his better judgment.

Before he could think twice about it, he grabbed her waist and spun her around, letting his spring green eyes meet her chocolate ones for a second before wordlessly pressing his lips to hers, tasting the sweet red wine.

Her arms snaked around his body, pulling him closer. His left hand gingerly pressed on the back of her head while the other brought her hips closer to his.

She deepened the kiss, slowing it down a little as their lips moved in sync. As her heart accelerated, she fought to keep it slow, also fighting to relish the slow, savouring pace. She senced the urgency in his kiss, but she slowly broke away for the lack of air.

The moonlit air hovered over them as they kissed again, deeply engrossed in their wild passion, unawear of everything around them. They were starcrossed lovers who were given the opportunity to love again.
