A\N: Here is a short little poem inspired by the "When We Look In The Mirror, What Do We See?" challenge. I have decided to write this about Leah Clearwater; for, once I saw the challenge, a stanza sort of jumped into my head.
Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight. If I did, Jacob would have taken his shirt off more often.

When I look in the mirror,
There is only one thing I see.
I see a hideous, ugly,
horrific, and terrifying beast.
A girl turned monster,
without a heart.
Everything she touches,
she tears apart.
Creases of bitterness
are etched in her face.
Her happiness is gone,
and it left not a trace.
The love of her life
had left her alone.
Of the pain he caused her,
he had very well known.
The façade of anger
she puts on everyday,
is to make everyone
assume that she is okay.
But, beneath all of
the things outside,
there is sadness, and
pain that she hides.
When I look in the mirror,
There is only one thing I see.
I see a shell of the person
that I could have been.
