Okie-- Some parts might not rhyme properly-- They're either sight rhymes, or they aren't supposed to rhyme.

Enjoy. ;)

The sun shone it's light, but I felt like I was in the dark.

Not a single sound, or whisper, not even a spark.

My voice cracked, as 3 words escaped my lips

My heart felt like it was on the edge of a cliff.

It was on the line, because I put it there

But you, you didn't want to harm a single hair.

Your perfect smile, your face, your complexion

I wonder, what was your true intention?

Was it to repeatedly break my heart?

I guess it was me, who wasn't all that smart.

Now your name, it still makes me boil.

You were just a knight in tin foil.

Guess that so-called fairytale came to a close

I think I described myself as a wilted rose.

But, a new story has already started to begin,

There he is, holding flowers with his big grin.

Maybe you weren't all that wonderful

I think I must've been a fool.

He's not perfect either, but he's closer

Than you'll ever be, forever.

So, it was like you led me straight to him

This story really wasn't all that grim.

So, thanks to you, Jake.

You helped me find my true knight in shining armour,

Oliver.

This was for a poetry booklet we were making in school. My friends definitely know my stance on what pairing I like now. ;)
