I stared angrily at the small figure coming up towards me over the crest of the hill. All I could make out in the hazy air was that whoever they were they were riding a horse.

And wearing as skirt.

I scowled, this was great! I was going to get bossed around by some snobby farmers daughter on my first day. She was probably fat and ugly and greedy and bitchy too. I turned deliberately away from the girl, splitting a few more logs.

"Farmboy!" Someone shrilled from behind me.

My scowl deepened as I turned, preparing to tell this spoiled little girl just where I stood on the servant and master issue.

I couldn't.

It was like and angel had descended from heaven and now stood before me, the lowly farm boy Wesley.

Long tangled golden locks fell around her delicately featured face, bringing out her crystalline blue eyes. Even the rumbled dirty dress couldn't hide the alabaster tone of her skin or the beautiful grace of her body.

"Fix the leaky spot on the chicken coops roof." She ordered, placing her hands upon her perfectly curved hips.

I opened my mouth, trying to find something to say to her that wouldn't make me seem like a complete fool.

Nothing.

She tilted her head expectantly, allowing a waterfall of sun-colored tresses to fall from where they had been tucked behind her ear.

"Well?"

It was brought to my attention at that very moment that I had been gaping at her like and idiot for a good few minutes and should probably say something. Too bad I was already too pre-occupied with gaping at her.

She tapped her foot against the ground. Waiting.

Finally my mind wrapped around something remotely say-able and I choked it out before something more embarrassing like "I love you" could take it's place.

"As you wish." I mumbled before running off in the other direction. It was fifteen minutes before I realized that the chicken coop was the other way.

And so it went for five years. Farmboy this, farm boy that, and every time all I could manage to say to her were the same three words.

"Farmboy, polish my saddle for me, I want to see my face shining in it by morning."

"As you wish."

"Farmboy fill these with water…please."

"As you wish."

"Farmboy…fetch that pitcher for me."

"As you wish."

"Farmboy-Wesley…kiss me."

"As you wish."
