This is my first sompleted attempt at fanfiction, so I hope you like it. As you all know, I didn't create this world J.K. Rowling did.

Albus Severus Potter was a timid kid, and he hated being the centre of attention. Unless of course, that attention was coming from Teddy Lupin. Teddy was always there for Albus, and Albus always appreciated it. When he was being teased by James for his lack skill on a broomstick, Teddy would be there to tell James off, and to give Albus a friendly wink. It made Albus feel special, it made him feel important. Teddy was his knight in shining armour, his first crush, and his biggest inspiration. Every time Albus felt shy, or nervous, he thought of Teddy. Teddy was the reason Albus wanted to be in Gryffindor, even though he truthfully, probably belonged in Ravenclaw. The epitome of a true Gryffindor, Teddy always stood up for the underdog. He was always confident, and never scared of what other's thought of him (or his vibrant turquoise hair). That was exactly what Albus wanted to be. Just about all of Albus' female cousins had a thing for Teddy at some point. At first it made Albus more than a little jealous, and when he was 7 he took to following Teddy around like a lost puppy. If he'd been one of the girls, he was sure everybody would have accused him of having a crush, and rightly so! As Albus got older though, he started to grow out of this, and eventually developed feelings for other boys. He'd known he was gay all his life, and in his sixth year he decided to come out. The First person he told was his role model, Teddy Lupin. It was with Teddy's encouragement that he was able to tell the rest of his family. Nobody, other than his Uncle Ron who was oblivious to everything, seemed really surprised. His mother patted his hair, and gave a smile that said "I know dear, and I love you". When it was over, Teddy clapped him on the back, and told him how proud he was. He said it took true Gryffindor bravery for that, and Albus grinned.
