He thinks the first time he sees her that day, he may just die. Literally. His heart speeds up, doing this oddly loud and irregular thumping, and he's pretty sure he can't breathe anymore. She just took his breath all away. She looks stunning.

With her perfect white dress, and her perfect curled hair, and her perfect her. He's never felt so happy before, so complete. He's filled to the brim with joy and he's certain his face is going to split in half with the smile he currently has plastered all over his face.

When she reaches him, he sees her face up close, so full of emotion, so full of love. She's radiant. She's beaming up at him, that look of absolute adoration in her eyes, a smile in full blossom on her face as well. He can't believe how he managed to get so lucky.

In his vows, he speaks of his unfailing love for her. He talks about the way she makes him feel. Whole. How she makes him a better person. The way she knows him inside and out, and he, her. How they're tethered. How he can't imagine living a day without her. And that he never wants to have to. He doesn't think he could. About how she's everything. And that he's nothing without her.

Her vows blow him away. She speaks of the way he holds her heart. The way she'll forever be grateful to have him in her life. How it's him who is constantly teaching her. And supporting her, through and through. That he'll never truly know just how much he means to her. How he's only one she's ever wanted. Ever needed.

They're announced man and wife and he kisses her. And it all feels perfect. Just like it always does. And when they walk down the aisle, towards the rest of their lives, he knows that whatever comes their way, they'll be able to face it and conquer it, together.
