~ Prologue ~ Landon ~
Jamie and I known and been friends since we were in diapers, She lived next door to me for years. We had the same classes, same bus routes to school; heck we even had the same babysitter when we were young. But years changed since back then, Jamie and I grew apart. When our first year of High school. Jamie and me had no classes together; we didn't even have the same lunch period. And I met Jason, the new kid from New York; he basically changed the look on beaufort high. We got people judging people on the out then and inside. He also got people depending on stereos types. I, which was part of the not the popular but the type where your cool or whatnot and you still get the attention from the girls.but that's not the point. Jamie asked that same day if I was going out to dinner with her family and mine in front of my friends! I turned her down I basically made a fool out her with my stupid crazy comeback trash talking ass talk, I even think I embarrassed her.sad thing is.I was still her friend too. It's been three years since then. We both just started our last year of high school, I talk to Jamie every now and then but it's not the same as what it was when we little kids. Her sister, Dee Anne, comes over a lot now to hang in my sister's Melanie's room. Its really starting to annoy me all they do is Laugh and scream and jump around the room, no what else Jamie comes over sometimes too. She climbs the ladder that my dad left outside and hops on to my sister's balcony. Jamie and Mel are best friends also. Mel's one year younger then I am she's sixteen. Jamie and Melanie became really good friends after.I left her for Jason.Which makes me wonder sometimes.
